So it begs the question:

I know that last one was seen coming a mile away by a few but when you think about it you get the feeling there's more to :redd:

than the mere scraps that were left on the bookcase after Mia's murder. It's true he was a blackmailer of sorts and profited off of a great deal of information but is that really all he was? Someone that powerful cannot afford to be stupid. He had at least another front. I believe he may have been the jeweler in question at some point. While there had to be a much bigger tie to Iris than Pearl/Morgan, everything is revealed except for Morgan's ex-husband. Redd never would have been under Mia's watchful eyes for such a long time if there wasn't some definitive tie to this situation since it appears everything was tied together in 3-5. Though I'm willing to bet anyone may shut out this entire line of thinking with just one bit of evidence. Discuss!.....? :yuusaku:

I can't see Iris using Hawthorne. Her father gave her up when she was young and she was raised by Bikini. I'm tempted to say Fey because Bikini and Iris were both members of the branch family and it seems all women of the Fey family take that name. Now for my own personal amusement, this becomes a non-issue in my fantasies because she marries Phoenix and becomes Iris Wright- so there. :gant:

The jeweler's surname was "Hawthorne". Moreover, Redd is too young to be his father, when Iris was born he was sixteen.
And I suppose her lastname is "Hawthorne". Remember, her father also took her with him, but later, he left Iris at Hazakura.

Fey, Hawthorne or White? If you mean her name, she is daughter to Morgan Fey, and there is nothing that really points to Redd White. His business is information, the jewels just underline his image I think.

Correct, Redd White was 16 when Dahlia and Iris were born. He is 24 at the time of DL-6, and 30 when Dahlia steals the sapphire. I also cannot imagine somebody as clever, penetrating and cunning as Morgan Fey falling for somebody like him. It was also said that her first husband left because of the matriarchal setting of Kurain Village.

Love is not only blind, it's also deaf and dumb. I'm no shipper but I'll say Redd+Morgan is definitely a possibility. :yuusaku:

Have to agree with the others on this, though it could make an interesting AU to read.

Iris... I don't think she has a last name. I found it very telling that the Court Record never printed a last name, even after we learned about her past -- Bikini doesn't have one either, but I think that's because "Bikini" is a name she chose rather than a given name. I think both Iris and Dahlia would have technically been "Fey" when they were young, since all the women keep the family name. Dahlia became "Hawthorne" when daddy picked up and left Morgan, and Iris was dumped at the temple. Bikini probably just called her Iris and left it at that, so that's all she goes by.

Must make paperwork a bitch.

I'm going on an idea of characters that have been presented in the court record. The only father figure that comes remotely close is Redd White and as said above, he's too young. =/
