Personally, I doubt it; Japan has already had the game for years, and a remake (without the case added to GS:YG) probably won't be worth it, in Capcom's eyes?

That's what I'm guessing, seeing as a good portion of GS2's sales were imports maybe they don't want it to be the same way with GS3?

I'd still probably import it, though, even with a simultaneous release. I'd rather wait a few days more and get a version of the game with two languages.

What makes you think that? When we polled back in September or something, only around 40 people on this board said they planned to import, and half of them said they were going to get the American release as well. I don't think American importing of GS2 made any significant impact on GS2 sales in Japan.

Just a guess... what other reason could there be for a simultanious release? Do you have a though what would make Capcom want to push for a simultanious release?

GS3 getting localized were very dependant on GS2's US sales seeing as the Japanese sale weren't so high for GS2. They said that if the Japanese sale were so high and the US sales were low they have no need to bring anything else to the US if they were just gonna import it (thank god that wasn't the case and US sales came on top). Note, I read that on Capcom's board on a topic a long time ago that I can't seem to find now.
