I'm about 99% sure they never showed him with his mask/visor off after he took the Godot persona. They probably should have made it explode off his face instead of it staying on when it exploded; it would have added more emotional and symbolic effect, since he was facing reality finally and just got done admitting that his real name was Diego Armando.

Why do people have doubts? He NEVER takes it off. 100% Sure. And personally I like that fact that it never comes off...

I always heard that you can't be sure of anything. Maybe they put an animation in the game where for 1/100 of a second he isn't wearing the mask. Actually, I just never say 100% on anything most of the time. But if it makes you any happier, I'm 99.9999999999% sure the mask never came off. There is still that 0.0000000001% chance he took it off though, if anyone wishes to pursue that.

Anyway...

:objection:

He can't be color blind. If he was color blind, think about it; he would have seen Maya's name on the white light thingy (can't remember what you call it) and wouldn't have had to scoop the snow out in a square shape. Basically, he could see blood if he was color blind. He might not see it as being red, but he would be able to easily tell what it was. Maybe the color red appears as white or something; it would have blended into everything. Or maybe it's like he said and he just can't see red at all.

I'm 100% sure I'm a dude. Oh, and he never takes it off in the game. A frame where he's not wearing a mask would be easily distinguishable from when he's not wearing it. If they tried to unnoticably slip one in, it'd have to be in an animation sequence, and T&T doesn't have any of those.

However, although he doesn't take his mask off in the game doesn't mean we can't ever see him with his mask off.

There are NO Demasked Godot Sprites in existance, and thus you do NOT ever see Godot with his mask off.

THAT is 100% accurate, since 'Diego' is a whole other matter altogether.
To make that clear...There is NO doubt that Godot ever takes his mask off in the game. at all. Period.

AHA! I have the proof!... Are we still talking about Godot? Anyway, Godot is blind without his trusty visor. He says, quite clearly, that without it he would be unable to see Phoenix's face. Hm, thanks for that link, Sebastian Shark. I'll go check that out now...

Possibly exaggerating? He has a touch for that; i.e. he says he has come from the depths of Hell to do battle with Phoenix, but we all know that he just fell into a really really deep coma for five years. Not exactly the same.

Hardly a little late, you still have doubters in here - I'm just trying to help eliminate that little .1%...and I hardly think that concept images of Godot's initial designs count as viewing him sans Visor!

All in all, I'm just closing the case for those people still claiming to have heard something about a demasked Godot.
Simply put: He never was. End of story! :godot:

Why not? It's Godot, minus visor, therefore it's Godot sans visor, is it not?

But, yeah, Godot never takes off his mask.

There is one action figurine (I think it was made specifically as a "bonus figurine" or something) which was specifically modeled to be Godot without his mask. I own a set of Phoenix Wright figurines made from Capcom (unfortunately they were from Japan and I had to go through much trouble on e-bay to get them) and Godot Without Mask is included in the set. If anyone would like to see Godot without his mask as shown as an official Capcom figurine please let me know and I can send a photo of him which I can take with my computer. I agree though, it never happens in the game. Anyways, the action figurine of him without a mask is pretty cute and the sprites people have made look pretty much just like the action figurine does. :) So, I'd bet the people making those might have seen one of the figurines. Anyways, he's real cute, so if you want to see him I'll find somewhere to put him so it doesn't spoil anything for anybody.

When talking about the blood stains in Maggey's appron, I thought Godot was just fooling around, because he knew it was only ketchup.

I don't remember what the game says, but I believe Godot can't see w/o his mask. I also think that either the mask makes him see red as white or red in white background just for some reason doesn't work.

Due to the the color of his visor, Godot sees everything with a red tint. Ergo, something red would appear to be white. If it was on a white background, it would blend in.

...As much as I'd love to say that's the case, we have no BASIS to believe that other than the possibility it may be so.
NOTHING at all is said as to how Godot see's, but rather what it is he is UNABLE to see - so as LIKELY as it is for his visor to see only red, the only thing we have to go on are the Red LIGHTS, which may in fact have little to do with how it operates. -Speculation =/= truth!-
