but anyway, it's not true that the dagger had no link with godot : it was covered
in his own blood ! so why godot didn't hide it ?

After Dahlia attacks Godot and knocked away his visor and everything, and then when Godot attacked her, maybe the dagger got sent flying, and got lost in the snow so he couldn't find it....
(Was it snowing when the murder happened? I forget...

And Godot didn't use the dagger in the first place, Dahlia did. So any fingerprints besides Godot's would have been Misty's.

He does say, though, that "the color red doesn't exist in my world." Whether that's the truth or whether he was just being dramatic is hard to say...
I agree with Franzise, though, I think it's almost impossible that he wouldn't know there was blood on the knife. He even mentions it when it's submitted as evidence. So I honestly have no idea why he wouldn't hide it...

As for why he would present it at all, possibly somebody else had seen the knife (I can't remember exactly how it went) or he worried they would notice the mark it left in the tree.

Certainly not with Misty's blood--the tests confirmed that it wasn't the victim's blood. And as he wouldn't really have had access to the blood of anyone else who wouldn't wonder why the heck he was cutting them... I'm not sure your theory works out.

First of all, it flew into the trunk after the murder happened, which isn't a place you'd look, really. Another problem, is that he didn't know that anyone else was at the Inner Temple side until later in court. Plus, when the bridge was finally built, the police had combed the garden, and were doing it the whole day. There was no chance for Godot to take it.
So yeah, it probably was his....
