I spoiled myself about that as soon as I got the game (don't ask why) and it was still fun anyway imo.

It's unfortunate that it was spoiled for you, but you'll still get a good game out of it. As long as you don't come accross more spoilers, you still have case 1 to 4 to look forward to.

The only thing you won't appreciate is that epic moment right at the end.

I concur. Seeing profile pictures of characters from cases you haven't played yet really isn't much of a spoiler.

As to the main topic, I was spoiled for a lot more details than normal with T&T but the game still managed to throw multiple surprises at me. If you are a fan of the series, there is no reason not to buy this installment. You will still get a lot of enjoyment out of the game.

Myself, I had been spoiled about all the culprits (Except for case 3-3, they said somebody else did it), plus Godot's entire story and the modus operandi for case 3-5 (Although I only half-understood it).

The game was still fun.

Most of the fun is finding HOW everything happens in a case, as opposed to strictly who did it. I mean, the murderer is usually very obvious (NOT your defendant, Engarde aside), and you have more fun catching the killer.

Even if you know who did it, Phoenix doesn't, usually, so it is made up for for the fact that you have an inner monologue of someone trying to discover the murderer that usually matches your own line of thinking.

It is good not knowing the murderers, but I knew pretty much everything that happened (basically. BASICALLY) in GS2/GS3, but that didn't make the revelations any less shocking/interesting.

What Emperor Ing said is very much true. And knowing who killed the victim sometimes makes it better (I knew Godot was the killer before I finished 3-5, and it made that case a lot better. I was fricking agonizing with myself the whole game because
1. Phoenix is clueless. Until the end, where he barrages the killer with ecidence, and the killer is sentenced.
2. I was so attached to Godot, I didn't want to indict him or convict. But I had to. It was EPIC.
Well, thats just my opinion, really.

Whoever said nothing was impossible obviously never tried to close a revolving door.

well i saw the sprites and realized the same thing about godot , and i also found out he was the murderer but the game and case is still epic still other twists in the game just b aware of what u read on this board

Cornering Godot was sort of anti-climatic anyway, so you're not losing much by knowing he's the killer. :yuusaku:

The rest of the case is worth it, though. 3-5 is one of the few cases where the investigation phases are better than the court phases.

Well... now that you know what was pretty much the penultimate spoiler (that spoiler could have been figured out before Bridge to the Turnabout), the game will lose SOME of its flair, but you should still play it. After playing the first couple of cases, then what happened in the end of 3-5... I almost cried. That was probably the best case in all of the Ace Attorney games, with one of the most bittersweet endings. And the fact that you get to play as

for part of the case is fairly fun too. C'mon! Play it! I promise you won't regret it. I knew the entire story of GS1 and GS4 before I even played them, yet I still did. I could have told you almost anything about any of the cases from 1 and 4 before I had even played them.

You should practice on having at least enough patience to play the game before looking at spoilers ... I know it's hard, but it pays of for sure!
