When I saw Dahila's last name, I thought of Nathaniel Hawthorne and The Scarlet Letter.
I haven't played GS3, though, so I don't know if the two have anything to do with each other.

I don't really understand "Doug Swallows" "Drug Swallows", maybe?

As for the HD trailer that you all are talking about... where can I find that?

But yeah, "Drug Swallows" is probably the pun there.

I love "Dahlia Hawthorne". Especially since Hawthorn is a kind of tree - like Willow. Evidence, perhaps, that Capcom really do love us?

Was I supposed to think of werewolves there?

Anyway, where is the high quality trailer? I couldn't see anything on the youtube or jeuxvideo versions.. or maybe my eyes are just bad.

Well, as for Doug Swallows...

Spoiler: GS3, Case 1
He, perhaps indirectly, since he was dating Dahlia, "provided" (she probably had taken it without his knowledge) the poison that Dahlia was going to use to poison Phoenix with.

So I'd say it's actually quite appropriate.

Spoiler: Godot's other US name?
Maxwell Folger?

Where does this name come from?
I found this other alias name under Wikipedia's entry. Has it been confirmed that that's his other name during the Comic Con 07?

Awww, not again...

No, it hasn't been confirmed anywhere. I'm 100% sure we've found all the names in the trailer and "Godot's other name" isn't supposed to be mentioned in case 3-1 at all. (The same goes for 3-2 and 3-3 and there were no screenshots of 3-4 nor 3-5 in the trailer)

Please believe Funk's first post when it comes to confirmed names. Anyone can edit Wikipedia articles and put some random crap in them. "Godot's other name" should have a source to be judged as believable. There is none. So, bullshit. Same goes for Creamy Abdul.

Well, his Japanese name means "If you drink it, it will work". It's a reference to his warning Phoenix of Dahlia and how she's an evil murderous bitch with poison.

Ah, wait you're right. My mistake. (Darn you Drac Sylvester >_<)

But either way, like Darzie said, it ends after the first cross-examination. You receive the Autopsy report with Soryuu's name innit at a point where you cross-examine Dahlia. So I clearly doubt the name's been revealed.

I wonder how disappointed people will get if it doesn't turn out to be Javado Beckett >___<
It's a kickass name, we're so used to it and even this smiley's ( :javado: ) been coded as Javado.

"Capcom please spare poor Wooster's life by giving Soryuu Kaminogi the English name Javado Beckett or else Wooster has to code the smiley all over again..."

Maxwell (as in Maxwell House, the coffee company) Beckett > Javado Beckett. "Javado" just sounds so cheesy and forced -- hell, I don't think it's even a real name.

Ini is no real name either. Reckon there was some guy named Javado, I think Orcaizer Al posted a pic of that guy in the "Localized names?" thread. As for Maxwell; we have a Maximillion in the series, I wouldn't feel comfortable having two guys in the series with names that starts with "Max".

Javado sounds awesome but I guess it's because the way I pronounce it (Damn Finnish phonetics >__>) Jah-vah-doh (If I'd pronounce it completely with Finnish phonetics it would be Yah-va-doh, which I accidentally do sometimes) I do think Ja-va-do sounds a bit cheesy, to be honest, and I heard that's the way many pronounce it.

Anyways, this is slightly offtopic.

I'm really hoping that Javado isn't Kaminogi's English name. It's not that I dislike the name so much, as that it's become more of a joke in the fandom, and I personally think it would detract from certain scenes.

Javado sounds a hell of alot more excotic than Maxwell. It doesn't suit him the least!

Javado seems more tacked-on than Maxwell. Javado sounds like an ugly Mexican guy. Maxwell is just an awesome name. I will love Capcom if they name him 'Samuel Beckett' mainly because my real first name is 'Samuel'.
