I think her voice is okay enough - I'll play it for the story, not for a 2 second soundbite of a womans voice.
In all honesty, it won't matter in the long run...the game is what's more important anyhow.

Mia's voice is about 2/5ths of the importance, if she has 2 cases...barely even worth losing any sleep over.
We'll get used to it - especially if Godot's makes up for it by being pure badass! :D

I would at least hope that they could make an Objection where she dosent sound like payne is shovin his fingers up her nose or something, it's practically a sin in my book

I really hope that this is not her official voice. If it is, then I'm scared to hear her "Take That!" and "Hold It!" phrases... Meekins

Maybe it will be like the TGS trailers, in which the voices in the trailers were different than the actual game.

I liked Edgeworth Igiari in the TGS but in the game it sounds like Nick 's Igiari

I don't like the argument that she's younger and less badass as a way of explaining Mia's cheesy objection voice. Young Edgeworth will most likely use the same objection sound clip as his older self. So for the same reason young Mia should sound like present Mia.

Of course, it would be hilarious if they got someone else to do young Edgeworth and make it sound like he's immitating VonKarma's scary deep voice.

Mia's english voice sounds perfectly normal to me. I can hear the usual "Objection!" as opposed to "Ob-jict-shun!" that other people say it is. It is a bit squeaky, I'l admit but I think I can live with it.

That's because the voice recognition system's pretty lenient.

It only recognizes certain sound patterns and syllables, and not the specific words themselves. Take PW: AA and JFA, for example. When prompted to yell "Objection!" into the microphone, you can say stuff like "Rejection!" or "Injection!" or any word you fancy that has a sharp, 3-syllable sound such as "Tch-Tah-Tch". You can shout "Baked Cat!" rather than "Take That!" as well. In Yomigaeru Gyakuten and GS2 DS, you can yell "Bleh!" rather than "Kurae!". As long as it's a simple sound that fits with the original word or phrase, it'll get accepted. That's how simple the voice recognition is.

I'm gonna be the odd one out and say I loved it. It works and it'll be better quality in the game I assume. Also I think they should get the same actor who did Godot's japanese voice to do his English. Same with Kyouya coz their va's didn't sound all that japanese (especially Kyouya)

If Kamiya can't speak english, Godot's objection could sound more mispronounced than Mia's.

Wasn't the original PW objection that was originally shown changed later on from the final one we see in the games?

You mean the trailer one?

I don't think so. Upon comparison, the "Objection" from the trailers sound exactly like the in-game ones, if not modified versions. Still, if the voices need to be changed, then Young Mia's definitely a candidate for it. :/

Franny's voice seemed fitting for her age, actually. She was 18, and the moderately high-pitched voice suited her fairly enough. Mia's however, does not. You're right, though; you can get used to her voice after a while, but I still wish it isn't the final version.

And we need to hear Godot's "Objection" sooner or later. :|

Please let that be true. Please. It's the only viable theory I've heard thus far about why the objection might be different for the actual release.

Also, chief-6 is the best. At least I think so.

I wouldn't be surprised, I've seen it done before. Especially since the casting for the other objections were pretty great.

The trailer voice actually starts sounding a little bit better the more you listen to it. And who knows? Capcom could surprise us and replace Mia's in-game voice with a HOT AND SEXY better-sounding one.
