Yeah, have to agree with you there. I wanted Jeff to die, especially in the beginning. To be honest, I really didn't hate him anymore after the, well, confrontation with him. Call me a sucker, but I kinda felt sorry for the kid, I mean, he pretty much completely lost his nerve. So I think he's not that bad now. Sue me.
Also, when I heard Iris, I thought of Megaman X4.
On topic: I'd imagine Iris is a virgin, if that's what was being discussed before. I mean, c'mon.

I think Phoenix as a virgin is highly doubtful. His almost ridiculous admiration and attachment to Dahlia reminds me of a lot of high school relationships I was the unfortunate witness to and the too much information factor that goes with it. Plus, he doesn't show any of the typical awkwardness around girls. After Dahlia? I doubt he's seen much, if any, action. The trauma of having the "love of your life" try to poison you probably plays a big role in that. Plus, he would've been increasingly busy with law school and his Edgeworth-stalking.
Plus, what about before Dahlia? I mean, there is potential there since we don't know much about him before PW:AA..
