I was really hoping Franziska would give Phoenix Maya's card. But since she didn't, I guess I can add that to list of things for my fan-made game, so it all works out.

I guess I'm one of the few who enjoyed the ending. I liked how they kind of pulled a 1-4, and brought stuff from the past into the present, like with pulling up Mia's past encounters with Dahlia, pulling that into 3-4 with a plan made by Morgan (who we haven't seen since 2-2), how Godot comes back to go after Phoenix due to the stuff from 1-2, bringing in Misty, who we hadn't met but heard so much about, going back to DL-6 with Edgeworth's disdain toward the Kurain Channeling technique, the Edgeworth and Franziska going after "truth" (though, I guess it was mostly Edgeworth) and filling in that detail with Phoenix and Iris (especially with the whole thing about Phoenix thinking that it wasn't "his Dahlia" on the stand in 3-1).

(....Go run-on sentence!)

I guess, to me, it was more like the entire 3-4 case felt like the ending to the trilogy. It felt very wrap-around, I guess. An interconnection between all of the characters (which goes back to the stuff Phoenix talks about in the intro to 3-4).

Well I think most of us DID like the ending and how everything was referenced and wrapped up nicely, BUT (it's a big "BUT")... it could have been better. I for one was expecting a longer ending, with even more tie-ins, like Franziska returning that DeKiller card that Maya drew on to Phoenix as a big one lots of other people complained about already.

And, as already mentioned, you'd probably enjoy the ending better if you knew nothing about PW4... and I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing, except for the fact that it's a new main character. :payne:

Yeah, well I kind of did to myself. I had to know why. And in detail.
All in all I enjoyed the last case, but 2-4 is still my favorite. Now we begin the long wait for AA4 and 5!

I liked the ending, though I found it a little anti-climactic to discover Pearl in that shabby Sacred Chamber... Then it ends there. I would've liked to see them all talking together at that Tres Bien place. I also would've enjoyed a little more closure for everyone... at least SEEING Maya go back to Kurain to start her work as the new master along with Pearl, Phoenix visitng Godot before he gets his final sentence, and I know it sounds like shipping, but I would've liked to see more in-depth Phoenix/Iris stuff. Anyway, it was a little dissatisfying, but I just LOVED the music. It's... so... beautiful... it just makes me want to cry. Kinda like Super Mario 64's ending music... but that's beside the point.

That was the one thing that really bugged me. Bad enough that Godot had to go and be the murderer in the first place (I really, really didn't want to accuse him... that was hard for me emotionally... but sadly, he was the only one who could've done it, and when the judge said it was either him or Maya, well, no way was I about to accuse Maya), but I didn't want him to be all alone for the rest of his life, and he was nice to Pearl, at least... maybe Phoenix did visit him, but it would've been nice to show it...

It would've been super nice if Phoenix and Maya went to visit him, and Maya channeled Mia so they could give their proper goodbyes.. even though technically I guess he would see her in the afterlife pretty soon anyways.. but it still would've been nice to see some closure between those two. :larry:

The thing about Godot is, he might have not gotten the death sentence. He defended Maya, though he used more force than needed and murdered Misty, probably on purpose. I think it might still be possible for him to return as a defense attorney with new things to live for. At the end of that case, it seemed that Godot and Phoenix would have made great friends. Godot could have easily been tied into Phoenix's best allies, maybe even better than Edgeworth if given the chance. I doubt it will happen and the creator has even considered it, but I really think Godot would have a lot of potential as a main character, even in Apollo's story.

I have to say, something about Godot and Phoenix having a cup of coffee together in court before the trial closed was funny and touching.

I thought that it was an amazing ending even though I really wnted the Judge to go easy on Godot. :sadshoe:
But other than that.....Iris telling Nick she was the girl that loved him and telling him that her feelings never chaned and vice versa with him made me happy for some reason even though I've kinda been a secret shipper or Pheonix/Maya, but I'm a sucker or people who are truely in love. Just makes me sad that there is no more and that in a few short months in the AA world everything goes downhill.

I honestly loved the ending. All the old prosecutors (well, minus :karma: , but at least his picture popped up!) coming there...the pastelly pictures...It was, for lack of a better word, EPIC. <3 There are still quite a few unanswered questions, but where's the fun in having everything answered for you? That's what fanworks and debates are for. Like, for example, how some people think :godot: was executed/died after 3-5, but others think he lived on and reformed and became a good person sunshine rainbows yay. (Since I liked Godot I'm hoping for the latter, but...considering Hobohodo and GS-4, I don't have a good feeling about this. :larry: )

Personally I don't really like NickxIris so I didn't like the semi-canonization of the pairing. And I'm clinging to NickxMaya like a leech to your leg when you swim in leech-infested waters. HE DIDN'T OBJECT WHEN IRIS SAID MAYA WAS NICK'S GIRLFRIEND AND HE RAN ACROSS A BURNING BRIDGE FOR MAYA AND THE TIME THEY DATED IS ALL IN THE PAST AND IRIS IS A NUN. YOU CAN'T MAKE ME SHIP FEENRIS YOU CAN'T MAKE ME I'LL EVEN BECOME A EDGEWORTHxNICK SHIPPER IF I HAVE TO---*mauled by the excessive amount of Feenris fans on C-R*

Oh and banishing :chinami: to hell felt SOOO good. Anybody else laugh out loud at their DS?

Oh man... I wanted to shout "OOOOOOOWNED!", except it was 2/3/4 AM or whatever time it was and I was in my room where my birds were sleeping and my parents were sleeping in the next room over and I couldn't just go in the living room because my DS was recharging.

The one thing that brought that ending down for me was after Maya collapses, the game cuts to an overview of the entire courtroom, and because of the lack of sprites, I guess, (but they made special ones for Maya... WTF?) Nick and Mia are still standing at the bench, not even looking at her. The lack of caring kind of jolted the "OMFG this game pwns!" mood I was in seconds before.

But, yeah, Dahlia's exit was one of the greatest moments in that game.

That was also awesome. Payne made me laugh out loud because I had temporarily forgotten him and his OBJECTION! came out of nowhere.
