http://www.nintendo.co.uk doesn't state that date, and it contradicts the release schedule press release, but this wouldn't be the first time that Nintendo have retroactively added a release date to the schedule - I've seen games have their release dates added after they were released, in fact!

There's a VERY slim chance this is genuine, but I doubt it.

I waited too it to come to Europe, but it comes in late 2008. Just import the JAP version from Play-asia, since the currency is in our side.

I feel bad for all those Europeans who didn't get their T&T and AJ a little longer after we did. Its absurd! Its not a translating text problem.. Because AA should be the same amount as T&T closely. (JFA only has 4 cases so.. Go figure.) Maybe, if you havn'y gotten it yet, They are thinking about releasing AJ and T&T around the same time? So a lot of work is needed..

They have AJ. They just don't have T&T yet. One issue with localization is in Europe it's probably harder to get away with only having 1 language supported, while in America they can. Translating it into several languages is harder than translating it into 1.

Still releasing T&T months after AJ over here is insane. According to the Gamecentral Teletext review, one reason the game was so delated was because of talk of suicide in the script (?!) Didnt seem to trouble the US.

Personally, I say that reason is just bull. The issue would be that they'd need to pay more translators but time shouldn't be an issue. They should be able to work on all the different language translations at once and the fact that Europe DOES get some games released close in time to the US/JPN releases proves that it's obviously possible. It's more off a fact that a lot of gaming companies doesn't take the european market seriously enough.

It's probably because they would rather get AJ out because it's newer and it has touch screen stuff, so it may have gotten priority. (And maybe they thought it would appeal to new people more?)



They can do multiple translations at once but the issue is effort/money. They have to put in more effort for localization than for the US and thus spend more $ on it, and I don't think that it sells better in Europe than it does in the US, so they're less willing to make a European version. If European versions of the game sells well enough though they'd probably give Europe more priority.

Yes the issue is money, not the fact that "it's more difficult". The problem is that Europe is almost in a bit of an evil cycle when it comes to this. And it's gotten worse with regionfree games. A lot of people would just rather import than wait for a local release for months or years which means that fewer people will buy the game when/if it actually comes out. I mean back in the day you were seen as an idiot if you didn't have a modded PS2 (As opposed to a non-modded one). I'm not saying most europeans import/download games but it really does create a lack of intrest when the waits are so long which brings down sales.

I personally try to buy the european versions of games when I can but I'm just not going to put up with waiting 3 months or more if I can prevent it. Also the fact that 2/3 of all DS games I own are american imports when I bought them in the store here in europe used just says something about people favouring imports.

I thought Nintendo are now saying T&T will come to Europe/UK in OCTOBER?! For the love of...
By the time that happens, we'll have more info on GS5 (hopefully).
