The game is played by all ages, so humbly I think it'd be inappropriate for the developers to put Godot as pot-mouth (I'm unsure if this is the correct term). It is supposed to be a game that teaches you a lot about morality & not about trends that mislead peoples' lives (like smoking, clubbing etc.). I totally am shaken if they make this real. Man! You gotta make a petition for the smoke-pot to not be introduced!

Well, they won't be doing it anymore. They had thought that but didn't do it in the end. This is just a fun topic about what it would have changed in the game should they have made him smoke.

Though in Japan, they're alot more lax then we are overseas. It wouldn't be surprising for Godot to have been smoking in the game over there. They wouldn't worry about it.

Well, aside from generally being opposed to smoking, I also think the cigarette metaphors would've been bigger stretches than the coffee ones. Now, weed metaphors, on the other hand, would've been easy as hell. That said, at 17 joints per trial, he'd probably be so baked that he'd practically do Phoenix's job for him.

Come to think of it, that would be awesome.
