Quick question here, but how old was Mia during the events of Case 1 and 4 in Trials and Tribulations and how old would that make Maya? I tried calculating it myself but I couldn't find any precise years on those cases so I had nothing to substract out of Mia and Maya's present time ages...

Thanks in advance!

I dunno the exact answer to your question but here's a timeline that might help you: http://www.court-records.net/timeline.htm

Maya is 19 during T&T, so she'd be about 14 in 3-1 and about 13 in 3-4 (since 3-4 takes place approx 1 year before 3-1, and 3-1 is approx 5 years before 3-2).

As for Mia, I'm pretty sure that her age is given in 1-1/1-2, using this and the above info, we can deduce that Mia in 3-4 is 4 years younger than in 1-1/1-2 (and 3 years younger in 3-1). :aiga:

Actually, I'm pretty sure the timeline is wrong in regards to those cases.

Spoiler: T&T
Phoenix is reviewing those cases in the middle of 3-5, while he's hospitalized. 3-5 takes place in February 2019; 3-4 is stated as being "Six Years Earlier" and 3-1 is "Five Years Earlier." So State vs. Fawles would actually have taken place in 2013 and State vs. Wright in 2014.

Anyway, if you accept that explanation, Mia should be 24 in 3-4 and 25 in 3-1. Maya would be 14 and 15 respectively.

'Course then Edgeworth's age gets messed up. XD

Then again I think we had that long timeline discussion a while ago where we figured it out correctly, except for a discrepancy with Edgeworth's age, so maybe you're right. *shrug*

If his birthday is between February and September, there is no contradiction. He's 20 in February 2013 and 24 in September 2016.

-edit- I guess it'd have to be between March and September. Forgot about Rise from the Ashes. Same deal, though.

How odd. I thought her age was stated as 23 at some point, but now I can't find that... :yuusaku: Does anyone have the instruction booklet from the English version? That's the only place left I can think of that I might have read that.
Or I've just gone completely bonkers. :redd: In which case, Franzise sounds right.

Oh. Wait.
This certainly isn't where I read it, but in one of the concept arts (gs3_05), it says she's 22~23. Now I'm confused. :meekins:

Well it says 23 in the timeline presented above (thanks for the link, Regy! Didn't know Court Records had one!), but some find it to be a little off on certain details...

Other than that I can't recall 'young' Mia's age being specified in the instruction booklet that I sadly don't have with me...

I'm not sure about 3-4 but I know Mia's profile is in the Court Record for case 3-1

No it's not. 3-1 had five profiles: Phoenix, Doug, Dahlia, Grossberg, and Payne.

Her age is given as 27 in the first game, and either doesn't appear in the Court Record or is listed as "deceased" beyond that.

Hmm, well, apparently, I'm delusional. My friend says her age isn't given in the English booklet, either.
...I must have seen the timeline and internalized that number. :headbang:
I'm with Franzise, then.

Except that would mean that Maya is 20 in 3-5, but she's listed as being 19 in the Court Record.

Technically couldn't Mia's age depend on when her birthday falls in the year like her younger sister's case?

Well in either case those ages sound about right, although for some reason I was expecting Maya to have been 11 or 12...

She's 27 in 1-1. So she's 2 years older in T&T, which would make her 29 if she were alive. And in 3-5, Phoenix says "5 years ago..." or something like that. That was 3-4, Stae vs. Fawles. She was 24 then. In State vs. Wright she was 23, because Mia and Grossberg say "last year" and "the incident one yar ago" a couple times.
So
3-4 she is 24.
3-1 she is 23.
Happy?

EDIT: 3-1 she is 23.
3-4 she is 24. My bad.

Nope. 3-1 is after 3-4.

Does that mean it's the other way around (3-4 she is 23, 3-1 she is 24), or that she's 22 at 3-4?

In 3-1 Mia is 24 and Maya is 14
In 3-4 Mia is 23 and Maya is 13
