I DID suspect that since I like to compare profile pictures to others and I just thought that Elise looked bit too much like Mia and Maya.

I thought it was awesome. That urn must have glue gluing the glue to itself by now.
But yeah, I think the talisman and the talk of Maya's mother gave it away. Also, Elise seemed way too nice to just be the victim, I was expecting her to be the murderer or something like that.

The topic title is incredibly vague to lure people in and the first sentence is the big spoiler.
It's like the perfect manifestation of a spoiler trap not everyone has played this game yet so cover your spoilers and be specific about the case as well.
As for me I thought she bore SOME connection to Maya but then again...the whole place was an offshoot of Kurain tradition so that suspicion was only natural but it did come as a surprise to me. Yet I didn't particularly care the big shock for me was seeing Psyche Locks FOR REAL.

I saw that but thought it was just the game designers making the characters look similar by accident. But I definitely didn't expect it, I only really realised when the game told us.

another good example:

they all got the same master and therefore share the same fighting style
