All right so its pretty much stated that this series takes place in the future. I know that AA1 takes place from August - December 2016 with Rise from the Ashes being in February 2017. And if I'm not mistaken, AA2 takes place from June 2017 to March 2018. While waiting for the (hopefully) eventual announcement that AA3 gets translated I was wondering the time the Phoenix cases take place in and I didn't really want to give the Timeline here a look at the risk of ruining something from AA3 for myself.

Also if theres a considerable gap between Cases 2-4 and 3-2 is there a reason? Like how Phoenix said he was turning down every case (besides Ema's) while Maya was away back at the end of the first one.

The games are all a year apart. GS3 takes place between September 2018 and February 2019. They don't really explain what was going on between 2-4 and 3-2 that I remember.

In PW it says that DL-6 happened in 2001. And because that case was 15 years before PW1, we know that it takes place in 2016. From there it's just a matter of paying attention to the dates in the cases.
