Alright Fangirlies (And Guys, I don't forget you lot too!)..
Spoiler: Case 3-5 Minor
Did you have fun playing as your favorite little boytoy?

I admit myself I enjoyed it quite alot, it was quite refreshing, even as I got my sister to present some evidence when I got home from college, she was all "OMG" heh. Shame its only for that one part.

Edgeworth needs his own game. I could literally imagine a nationwide squee if that happened.

Personally, I just want to play as the prosecution for once.

Spoiler: Happy Now?
Not as the prosecutor filling in for a defense attorney.

Dragoon Darkfire was doing a flash project called Miles Edgeworth: Ace Prosecutor, but that seems to have died. Pity, it seemed promising.

The descriptions over the evidence was absolutely hilarious. Especially when he calls the magatama "utter nonsense". :hotti:

I'm playing this bit at the mo and it is truly hilarious. Oddly, it also feels much more efficient than usual.

Spoiler:
The bits where he's interacting with Larry hadme in stitches

Spoiler:
Playing as Edgeworth was - hands down - the best part about 3-5. Maybe it's just me but Edgeworth seem so..."cool"...like he has everything under control; something which Phoenix could pick up on. He even manages to sound cool when presenting the wrong evidence. It's like he's large and in-charge, and no one can stop him.

That's it! I nominate Edgeworth to replace Chuck Norris in jokes all over the Interwebs.

No I agree - the investigation phase too. Even though it was hilarious in places I felt like I was getting shit DONE! a lot faster.

Hahaha the Edgeworth-Chuck battle royale. But nah, he's too cool to be made fun of.

He pretty much owns the place even with his first time in defence, which is unbelievably cool.

Personally, I think Ace Attorney should stick to played as the defense. However, a spin off series of games should be made where you play as the prosecution (especially since just about everyone loves Edgey-boy).

I vote for a spinoff for Edgeworth- they need to make up for spoilery things which aren't allowed to be talked of here.

Edgeworth deserves his own game. I've said that ever since the first game. He just has such an air of coolness and in-controlness about him!

I spoiled myself beforehand, so I expected it.. but it was amazing anyway. I dunno about having a spin-off game but maybe having a whole case where you play a prosecutor would be incredibly awesome.

Aside from seeing that the magatama was, in fact, not bullshit at all, I think my favourite part playing Edgeworth was him in court and the text gradually building up the reality that he was finally understanding exactly what Nick went through every single time on that side. For that, it would probably make him a better prosecutor ;)

Absolutely agreed. Like the...
Spoiler:
... constant abuse -- both verbal and physical -- he endures: "Is there a 'kick-me' sign posted on the defense bench?!" Or that he now knows that great feeling Wright gets when pointing out contradictions. But it's the self-confident attitude that trumps all: "It appears that even I can make mistakes." :edgy:

Because Phoenix pulls things out of his ass so constantly it leaves Edgeworth completely speechless and unable to recover.

It's because Phoenix thinks outside the box, is persistent and has faith in his clients' innocence... I guess the creators of the game want to emphasize that drive and determination are most important.

Edgeworth is fabulous <3

Which is why I don't really understand why so many fans insist on focusing on the emo persona he gives off in 1-4 and 1-5. In every other instance he's confident, in control, and just plain bad ass. And hilarious :edgey:

I mean, I love his emo side, too, but it's his growth from that into 3-5 Edgeworth that makes him such a great character (IMO).

Yeah amen. I'm looking forward to finishing game 3 so I can play around with some writing set in that period.

Although I actually think he's bloody funny in 1:5 to be honest.

I love the fact that he grows into his own and becomes confident in his path as a lawyer, but I also think he has quite a ways to go in terms of interpersonal interaction if 3-5 is any indication. We see a lot of heaping self blame in this case--and not a single usage cocky-smirk sprite, RE: 2-4. While I think it'd be a huge mistake to go back to GS1 characterization, part of what makes Edgeworth interesting for me is his ongoing struggle. It's still hard for him, but he doesn't back away from that. That's why I adore him as a character.

BELIEVE IN THE HEART OF THE CARDS, YUGI! -shot-

So I was up to case 3, then my game got stolen. And I charmed my dad into ordering me a new one last night. (Which is surprisingly easy when you're an only child and a "daddy's girl") So it should come in a few days. And I'll just rush over all the cases so I can see my Edgey-boy. <3

Spoiler: If you haven't played/spoiled case 3-5 for yourself, why are you here?
Er, so... does he think about Maya much? :D Like, is he worried? Please tell me he is.

Spoiler: 3-5
Yes, he's very concerned for her safety. Though, not particularly E/M-ish, since he relates it back to how he "could never show his face to Wright again if something happened to her". Still, I suppose there are bits you can work with in that regard. He says some lovely things about her at the end.

You made me very happy. :D Now I'm even more excited to play case 5... I'm sure once I actually play it I'll find something to work with.

Not to step on anyone's toes but from what I came to understand, He does show concern but not the same degree as we have seen on 2-4. But this very likely due to the fact that he figures that Maya isn't in the same level of danger. Also...

Spoiler:
He doesn't get emotional as Phoenix does during his running around gathering evidence. He seemed to more focused on gathering information about what happen that night for the trial the next day and to help Nick out.

Spoiler:
I absolutely loved playing as Edgey. I'd somehow managed to avoid spoiling myself so it was a complete surprise :3

It's very amusing to see how both he and Phoenix have to play the straight men (not that way, obviously :D) to everyone they come in contact with, and it was just brilliant to see that from Edgey's POV. I mean, we all know and love how Phoenix and Maya interact ("It's not a ladder; it's a stepladder!" or "That, right there, is the difference between sane and insane."), but it was priceless to get to see Edgey and Gummy investigate together for the sake of Nick.
Gumshoe's adorable bumbling-ness and Edgey's "Why me?" just work so wonderfully and hilariously together, as much as I adore Nick, I wouldn't have complained if I had to play a whole case as them.
