Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on these forums, but I've actually been visiting Court-Records.net for a while now. I just created a forum membership because there's something that's really been bothering me, and I was hoping one of you could help me out:

I hate having anything with a story spoiled for me, may it be a book, a movie, a television show, or something as awesome as Phoenix Wright. I have played the first two games to completion, and I am eagerly awaiting next week's North American release of PW3. I tried my best to stay away from spoilers, but due to a few stupid clicks while browsing the Court-Records characters page last night, I accidently ended up gathering the following information about a certain PW3 character (please do not read what's coming if you haven't played PW3 and don't want to be spoiled):

Spoiler:
I read a few things about the character named Dahlia: (1) she is sweet on the outside but rather nasty on the inside. (2) Her boyfriend stopped dating her after he realized her true personality. (3) She is (possibly) Phoenix's main enemy in the third game. (4) She (possibly) has a twin.

All of these, with the exception of point number 4, are readily viewable on the Court-Records page (meaning they aren't hidden under the spoiler window). Point number 4 I accidently saw when I highlighted the t-word under the "family and friends" heading. I don't know any more details than that (thank god).

Anyway, for the last 20 hours or so I've been so mad at myself. I tried so hard to stay away from anything PW3 related, and now (so close to the game's release), I had to go read those things. So my question to anyone who has played through the game is this: Have I really spoiled a HUGE part of the game for myself by knowing the four things I know?

Here is an example of what I consider "huge" (SPOILER FOR GAME 2):

Spoiler:
HUGE SPOILER FOR GAME 2: Engarde hired De Killer to assassinate Juan.

I am hoping that what I know isn't too big of a spoiler (meaning, it's evident early on in the game or is pretty easy to deduce/doesn't have much shock value). But I'm still so mad at myself... have I really hurt myself bad? If I have spoiled a huge part of the game, shouldn't this information for this character be hidden under the spoiler window (besides point 4, which is already hidden)?

Please try to answer the question without giving anything else away. (A yes or no answer will suffice.)

I'm sorry for the long message, and thanks in advance for your help!

Now that I have a board membership, I'll post more often on the forums!

Points 1-3 will not spoil much of anything for you, believe me.

And it would be wise to avoid clicking on the profiles for characters you have not yet met as there are other potential spoilers under some of them.

Thanks for your reply... so I'm guessing point 4 is kinda a big deal. :(

Believe me, I've definitely learned my lesson about visiting un-met character profiles.

Point 4 is 50/50. You could have found *at least* two far worse spoilers though if I'm honest, so stay away for now! Also stay away from GS3 sprites or any sprites under spoiler tags.

The reason some of those remarks are visible in the profile is because they're revealed very early on in the game (and a playable version of that case has been available for a long time now, so a lot of people have seen it).

But even number 4 is not nearly as important of a spoiler as "Engarde hired de Killer."

No, not really. And point number 4 you get told in the middle of the related case, so none of these have actually spoiled the 'what actually happened at the crime scene/plot' bit :)
