Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on these forums, but I've actually been visiting Court-Records.net for a while now. I just created a forum membership because there's something that's really been bothering me, and I was hoping one of you could help me out:
I hate having anything with a story spoiled for me, may it be a book, a movie, a television show, or something as awesome as Phoenix Wright. I have played the first two games to completion, and I am eagerly awaiting next week's North American release of PW3. I tried my best to stay away from spoilers, but due to a few stupid clicks while browsing the Court-Records characters page last night, I accidently ended up gathering the following information about a certain PW3 character (please do not read what's coming if you haven't played PW3 and don't want to be spoiled):
All of these, with the exception of point number 4, are readily viewable on the Court-Records page (meaning they aren't hidden under the spoiler window). Point number 4 I accidently saw when I highlighted the t-word under the "family and friends" heading. I don't know any more details than that (thank god).
Anyway, for the last 20 hours or so I've been so mad at myself. I tried so hard to stay away from anything PW3 related, and now (so close to the game's release), I had to go read those things. So my question to anyone who has played through the game is this: Have I really spoiled a HUGE part of the game for myself by knowing the four things I know?
Here is an example of what I consider "huge" (SPOILER FOR GAME 2):
I am hoping that what I know isn't too big of a spoiler (meaning, it's evident early on in the game or is pretty easy to deduce/doesn't have much shock value). But I'm still so mad at myself... have I really hurt myself bad? If I have spoiled a huge part of the game, shouldn't this information for this character be hidden under the spoiler window (besides point 4, which is already hidden)?
Please try to answer the question without giving anything else away. (A yes or no answer will suffice.)
I'm sorry for the long message, and thanks in advance for your help!
Now that I have a board membership, I'll post more often on the forums!
