Other people on the Capcom forums have recieved this email as well. This sucks. I seriously feel like crying, even though it's silly to cry over a videogame. It's just I have been looking forward to this game for so long, and I preordered ages ago because I wanted the plushie and I wanted Capcom to get FRV of my purchase in case it helped convince them to bring GS4 here. I'm pissed, to be honest.

Actually Gamestop/EB are right on time, Oct. 23 is the shipdate, not the release date.

I do know that at least GameStop is on time, they shipped my order (with the bonus) on the 23rd and I should get it later today since I paid for overnight shipping (even though they sent me the notification probably 12 hours after I saw it had been shipped on their site). I don't know about in-store orders, but at least those who pre-ordered online from GameStop should be getting theirs soon. From what I hear it'll be on shelves today.

I just got off the phone with customer service, and the guy said we WOULD be getting the plushies (yay) and that hopefully the games would be in our hands within 1-2 weeks (boo). Certainly not ideal, but it makes me feel better than I felt this morning.

Casually pre-ordered 5$ just to hold it, went today to Gamestop, bought it at normal retail, and got the plushie. I guess some of us just got off lucky.
