I think what the scientists say is somewhat true, but not completely. I don't think it's biological. It's more of a mental adaptation. Sex is a natural urge, and naturally, people prefer the opposite sex very strongly over the same sex. But if they can't get any from the opposite or there is no opposite to get it from, they will settle for the same sex. I believe strongly that everyone, deep down, is bisexual. I call myself straight because I have no sexual urges towards other guys, but I'm sure I would in the right situation. Also, some people just don't limit themselves to a certain sex because they feel that it's stupid; maybe they're right. That only applies towards true bisexuals or homosexuals though. Of course, we always have a large group of people who just want to be cool or whatever and pretend to be that way for attention.
Anyway, on topic.
Armstrong is probably the only man alive who was born gay, in my opinion. How could someone be THAT flamboyantly gay off just a simple adaptation through constant experience? He was born craving penis. He's just so amazingly gay. I think most non-fictional gay people would even be scared of him.
