I recently found capcom's bionic commando site (http://www.bioniccommando.com) and noticed they had a podcast so i downloaded the first episode of it. There was this guy named andrew alphonzo (?? I don't know the spelling of his name...) and they said he was the editor in the localization department. Near the end of the episode that guy started telling a joke and then another guy mentions that andrew is a Canadian!

so does that mean the canadian judge was in fact, created by a canadian!? :udgy: :udgy: :udgy: Do we know if he worked on the game?

I still wonder how 2 brothers aren't step-brothers or distant relatives... yet both are from different countries...

Parents divorced, each getting custody of one child, shortly after Udgey's younger brother was born, and then the one parent moving to Canada, perhaps. Similarly, if the mother runs off to Canada while pregnant, and then gets divorced.

Also, there could be a largish age gap between the brothers. Maybe the parents moved to Canada after Udgey had moved out, but his brother was still very young.

HEY! Cheap Shot, ese!

In honesty, his accent is more of a stereotypical Newfoundlander accent. Canadians are pointed at as having it, but we point to the east to show who really has it.

Obviously, otherwise we wouldn't have them used in so many jokes up here!

Although I don't remember hearing people say "aboot" a whole lot... weird.

i was in the heart of totonto for a week last summer. while i was there, i could barely hear the accent, accept for this one guy who had a really thick accent.

I kept trying to duplicate it, but it sounded like nothing i had ever heard.. o yeah, and the stereotypical accent the judges brother had was really bad
