Yeah, I know that, but I think in one of the modern cases he mentions that he has a new coat. I think he says the color is different too, but I'm not sure.

Gumshoe looks spiffy no matter which coat he's wearing, so it doesn't bother me at all.

Honestly, Gumshoe is one character I rarely, if even at ALL, see people say something bad about. He's just so damn likable! I've even seen more people dislike GODOT than Him, and that's sayin' something!
