Is Lordly Tailor even a department store? I think they say it is in case two, but all I ever saw there was a treasure exhibit.

A parody store is also named. "CostMo". This is in 3-3, when Maya says that "It's not like you can just go to CostMo and buy it for $5 in bulk.".

Obviously a pun on CostCo.

Also, I thought Lordly Tailor was a museum and exhibition center?

Yes, when Phoenix enters Lordly Tailor for the first time he said it's "the city's fanciest and most expensive department store." Maybe they just decided to sponsor an exhibit that has nothing to do with the store itself? =\..

And yeah it could be very possible that Mia got the lamp stand from there. I remember in 1-5, Gumshoe had an ad for a "new French cuisine cafe that just opened up".. and the pixellated picture on the ad was pink and looked like Jean Armstrong xD...

It's possible, but I doubt the game designers would have been thinking that way. After all, Lordly Tailor wasn't thought up when the first game was made.

And you can't use 1-5 as evidence. It was made after the other two games and is therefore deliberately filled with references to them (Gumshoe's bug finder, the Tres Bien poster, and Edgeworth's fancy suit are three that come to mind).
