So T&T established that Iris and Dahlia are the daughters of Morgan Fey. I'm guessing that they lived in Kurain village before their father left with them. I'm also guessing that Mia and Maya grew up in Kurain Village also. Since Mia is older than Iris and Dahlia, shouldn't Mia have recognized Dahlia when she appeared in court as "Melissa Foster" since they must have met at least a couple times before? It's never explicitly stated when Morgan's husband left, but I get the impression that Iris/Dahlia were at least old enough to have some memory of life with their mother, so Mia surely would have been aware of the fact that she had a cousin named Dahlia. I'm curious as to what others think about the life of Iris/Dahlia in Kurain village and how they interacted with Mia (Maya maybe?)

Since Morgan hated the main family so much, maybe she prevented her kids from talking to Mia? It would explain why Iris and Dahlia are so close, too (I know it's common with twins, but still).

Though this doesn't explain why Pearl and Maya are so close.

It doesn't ever seem to be explained, but in 3-4 Dahlia seems to recognize Mia. Could be that Mia just wasn't expecting to see her cousin on the stand after so many years and didn't make the connection.

Well, I imagine the twins were pretty young when they left Kurain. Since long-lost relations were probably the last thing on Mia's mind, it's reasonable that she didn't recognized Dahlia. Meanwhile, Dahlia (1) probably saw the magatama, and (2) probably knew her cousin had gone off to become a defense attorney, while Mia had no idea what had happened to Dahlia.

Throw in the "she dyes her hair" theory too, if you want.

Mia has problems in remembering names (Harry Butz etc)
i guess she might remember THAT face, but not sure where she had seen it. Dahlia must know Mia before since Mia "took" her life indirectly in kurain away. (if mia and maya weren't born, dahlia might become the next head of kurain :udgy:

Not possible. Morgan's line was the branch family, so the only way one of her children would become the next Master would be if Misty's line was eliminated, and even then, Dahlia didn't have enough spiritual strength to take it up.

Also not possible. Dahlia had to have recognized something about Mia, the way she stared at her and asked who she was was just too odd and wouldn't have been put in there for no reason.

Boyyyy is this confusing.

I think:
-I believe it is possible Dahlia forgot Mia, what with her concentrating on stealing her father's HUGE ROCKS and whatnot. It is also possible when she saw her/her Magatama it jogged her memory.
-Dahlia probably died her hair auburn/red (or whatever color it is... I say auburn OR red since it's a little brighter than my hair color), since it seems most Fey's have black hair. o.o (Which doesn't explain Mia's or Pearl's, but whatever.) Then again, it may be natural, since (I THINK) her spirit sprite had that same red hair from when she was all "ONOEZ" and coming out of Maya's body. >.>
-Dahlia probably despises her Fey connections because of Morgan. But that's just what I think.

As for Bikini, she probably just chose to go elsewhere. But all of this is just my humble opinion~ :matt:

If you're talking about my slip-up with Bikini, it's part of the outfit for anyone belonging to the Kurain school. Iris has a magatama, but she definately wasn't wearing it to declare herself a Fey after her parents kicked her to the curb.

Maya has a duplicator so she can make as many magatamas as she wants. Adrian has one too.

I don't know how the entire branch family thing works, but I'm thinking that maybe Bikini could be part of the branch family network without actually going by the name of Fey. Although Iris and Dahlia certainly were named Fey at some point as Morgan's daugthers, they probably dropped the name (Dahlia) or forgot about it (Iris).

I agree. Because an aco has good memory (for having nothing much to be thought of about like ordinary people... for example, remembering the hottest rock bands or svexy sportsmen that ordinary people constantly think about)....
