no this isn't a pairing thread. plus I searched this forum in case someone else has mentioned it, but couldn't find anything (tho i'm guessing it must hav been discussed before?)

but i was replaying the last case in T&T (spoilers in case you haven't played it) and when you first meet Larry by the bridge i presented Bikini's profile and got this weird response.

They don't seem alike, he wouldn't have gone to regular school if she were his mother.
But on the other hand, why did he end up meeting up Elise and staying at the temple anyway? It could be because he was visiting his mother at the time. But oh well.

yes it was me who mentioned it. It is isn't a joke, Larry on the 1st day says that line, but on one of the following days says something on the lines of that he can't believe how similar she is to his mother ( and possibly something like " I could never like someone THAT similar to my mother" but I may just be remembering this wrong. As I said in the other post though after presenting Larry's profile on one of the days ( I think the Edgeworth day) Bikini says she thinks Larry has a crush on her, so that basically crushes the theory. It's a nice bit in the case though. sorry for the length of the post.

Edit: ah I see you weren't reffering to my post, it was in the Lotta and Larry pairing thread but the thread got taken down.

The LottaxLarry thread didn't get taken down, it just got merged with the Pairings Part 2 thread.

One thing, though. My memory is failing me, so who exactly is being referred to as Larry's 'mother'? Elise or Bikini?

And if Larry was Bikini's son, (I'm assuming) then how come he didn't grow up in the mountains? They should have gone more into the past. All we see is him in Feenie's school when they were younger.

it really has to be a joke, but there are alot of run away mothers in the series. maybe not bikini but Larry could also be motherless :sadshoe:

I noticed that too. While it would be totally pwnsome if Bikini was Larry's mom, I think Larry was just trying to say that Bikini was very similar to his mother (assumably in terms of motherly-ness), but being Larry he couldn't fail to screw it up.

But since Suzune's post is almost exactly what I posted in my parental theory thread about Edgeworth, let's try to find supporting evidence! :inspect:
