Capcom, Bandai, SEGA working on Nintendo 3DS crossover?

Kind of old news, though I haven't seen a topic about it here yet.

Upon clicking any company logo it gives you some sort of chromosome shaped sprites with their own specific colors, possibly hinting at characters from said company.
We got Phoenix in UMVC3, who knows maybe we'll see an AA character for... whatever this might be. What do you guys think?

Also, supposedly Namco's toy unit is also involved in this collaboration.
That said, I'm vaguely curious what the collaboration is. I doubt it has anything to do with the mascots of the companies. Sonic, Pacman, and Megaman don't have any overlapping gameplay mechanics. But if it does, then it'd likely be a party game, a la Mario & Sonic. (In which case my interest is terminated)

Looks like it's a fighting cross over game, if the fans' deductions are to be believed.
