Ace Attorney 5 has now been available in Japan for about two weeks, and we're already getting the sales number for the 2nd week (if you're looking for the 1st week numbers, click here!).

According to Famitsu/Enterbrain (tracking the sale of download cards), Ace Attorney 5 is #2 this week, just behind Disney Magic Castle : My Happy Life (100k). The game has sold about 46k ; that may seem like a huge drop, but it's actually pretty standard for a game during its second week (especially for a series with a strong fanbase, where Week-1 sales are always the highest). According to this, AA5 has sold roughly 296k units in Japan since its release... That's more than all the previous game, minus AA4 and the 1st spin-offs (and not including the Budget re-release).

309k + digital in 3 weeks is pretty awesome. Anyone know if there's a way to get the eShop numbers? I'm assuming, considering Japan's anti-digital bias, that it's around 25% of retail? That'd be around 75k. So we can assume we're well over 350k in 3 weeks. Not bad at all!

More like 10-20% at best, 25% is a bit high for eShop-only sales.
