Whats up with all the Moderators?

I'm not complaining about any of them but I noticed a lot of people have been promoted to moderators recently and I'm wondering why. Like Tinker for example. What happened?

Uh I think it's just Tinker actually.

The rest have always been moderators/admins to my knowledge.

...This happened over a month ago and you've only now just noticed?

Tinker and Gerkuman got promoted because Croik thought they could handle the job. Simple as that.

Does we even do these things anymore?

...there are only two new ones. The main reason was to mod the RP forums more effectively (at least that was what one was for).

A lot of the original moderating team have become inactive of late, funnily enough. Perhaps that's what seems so odd to you.

I joined January 12th. They were still regular plebb members back then so they've been mods less than two months. I'm pretty much a newb and yet I remember them getting promoted. It was the source of much discussion at the time, mostly positive because the Trials forum was a total shambles. :P

Does we even do these things anymore?

Well, from what I can see, we were hired to patrol a certain section each. I got the RP Job because I've done it before and none of the staff were very interested in it, Tinker got the Trial board because he asked for it and he's cool. :)

Anyways, I think this topic is about done, so I'm gonna lock it. If Tinker or any of the Admins want to say anything then they can.

Just noting: "Not very active" is actually not true. Gerkuman and me might leave more "lol, your topic sucks and it's closed" messages, because we like to spam and such, but there's a definite amount of Croik, DSL-69, and the rest of us behind the scenes.
