As a professional translator myself I know that localizing a videogame and a manga are quite different. I would feel safer if it were licened by Tokyopop or Viz.
That's just my piece though. I guess we'll find out when we see it.

Del Ray is quite an interesting company. I wonder how'll they'll handle this series. They have such an assortment of liscenses. It makes me feel like the brains behind that company is really paying attention to the stuff that the bigger companies like Viz and Tokyopop might overlook.

I for one thought it was releasing this month, I am saddened at the fact I need to wait another six months to get volume 1 of the Manga. Oh well, the wait is worth it, especially since I have nothing to look foreward too, with the exception of finding out what Gyakuten Not Saiban is and any Conventions/Gatherings I go to in my Phoenix Wright Cosplay + Objection! Pillow.
Also, rumor is that Vol 2 is: The Miles Edgeworth Files. but I'm not to sure until more info on Vol 2 comes out after Vol 1.
****And Yes, I do realize Amazon.com has "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Official Casebook: Vol 2: The Miles Edgeworth Files" for pre-order, but if it doesn't appear in the Official Publisher listing, I do not recognize it until it is up****
