If I were to do more JazzHands smilies I would probably only do Phoenix and stop there.

To make 'em I just paste the hair from the sprite on this base: Image and make a face that matches the sprite.
It doesn't take too long once you learn how to make them.

I think the open hand needs to move up and to the right more, like in the sprite.

The problem with the second 2 is that it looks like you have just re-sized the sprite and changed the skin-colour to yellow, hence why they only look good large. Re-sizing like that blurs the image.
You really have to start with a smiley base and c+p specific parts onto it, such as hair, glasses etc, if you're not confident with doing it from scratch, which tbh I can't be bothered with either.

That is what I did do. I just made the base larger to match it with the hair (because I didn't want to resize each frame of animation) and resized the whole picture. I only recolored the hands and the edges of the mouth and eyes to remove the skin colors I missed. I'm going to redo them tonight so they look right.

I hate to double post like this but nobody is posting in here and I have a smilie. And it's like a one week gap anyway.

I think the Pearls smilies are behind me now. And for the first time I have made a smilie that I made everything but the base from scratch!
