The fourth volume of the Young Magazine GS manga is to be released next month. Been waiting for it a long time now (3 was released in December last year) as this is really great detective manga combining GS characters/settings and actually interesting detective plots (compared to the dull and more comedy-centered official doujinshi).

Ah, the third volume was the very first detectivemanga I ever read completely in Japanese, the memories <3

On the note of reading in Japanese, I'm just learning and my vocab isn't massive yet - how easy did you find it to read? I'm hoping with a Kanji dictionary by my side I could muddle on through.

You'll have to use a kanji dictionary often, as the manga does not feature furigana ^_~

Detectivemanga are usually quite difficult to read in Japanese. Depending how well you can read the easier manga (fighting shounen etc.), you might wanna try it once (maybe one of the earlier volumes first, so you can compare to the scanlation). I was studying Japanese at university for half an year at the moment and had to spend quite a lot a time on it to read the third volume. Of course, the most important thing is not vocabulaire, but grammar. Words you can always look up (especially crime-related phrases), but you'll have to know what they're saying with those words.

apppears that Eldoon senior is also on the back as well, he appears to be based on one of the Eldoon concept arts.
