The latest issue of GameInformer has a very interesting cover story. It's titled "The 30 Characters who Defined a Decade". Guess who makes an appearance on said list? None other than Phoenix Wright! It gets even better because one Professor Layton makes the same list and is on the same page as Phoenix. No wonder they're making a cross-over game! Depending on what cover you get, you can also see a small portrait of each protagonist on the cover. Check out the issue if you get a chance and kudos to the people at GameInformer for including these characters on such an awesome list! :pearl:

I'm so happy for Phoenix! ^^

There are a lot of gamers who have never heard of Ace Attorney. It's a pretty niche fandom compared to many other big game franchises. So it's really wonderful to see it getting some appreciation.

Oooh, check out Phoenix epically immortalized, right beside Layton, in a room full of GameInformer's other awesome character choices.

When I cosplayed as Maya, only about a quater, maybe less, of the other Con-Visitors reconized my character. And most of them were gamers themself.

But maybe that's because I am in Austria, where you are lucky to find a copy of the games in any other store but Gamestop...

Anyway, that picture looks awesome!

Ace Attorney does have pretty big following in Japan. Fans have gotten together to perform musicals about the series and an orchestra there has held a concert featuring music from the games. Ace Attorney really is kind of a cult following though outside of Japan. Took me a while to actually find Nick and Layton in the picture. Pretty cool :phoenix:

This is actually extremely surprising. I knew Ace Attorney was big in something like Nintendo Power, but I didn't think all around magazines ever took notice. Good Job. Also ''OBJECTION!'', is a huge youtube meme. Lol.

Oh yeah! I saw that Game Informer issue! I was so happy that Phoenix was on there!! :b33r:

I've never played a Professor Layton game. I wonder if it's they're any good. Any suggestions? Or opinions or anything? I'd really like to know if any of them are worth buying.
