From what I heard, the IRC Chatroom has been dead for a while now. However, a few members set up a Skype Chat back, when we were on the backup Forums. You can check that one out, if you're interested...

I think the whole chatroom system needs a renovation. The Skype chat has a problem where it needs to be evacuated every few weeks due to lag.
