A lot of the focus on CR lately has been on Dual Destinies, and for good reason; as the first localized Ace Attorney in 3 years, this is a momentous occasion for Ace Attorney fans everywhere. That in mind however, there is still another Ace Attorney game in the works, though not an official one produced by Capcom; for the past two years, a fan translation has been in the works for the localization that never happened for Ace Attorney Investigations 2. Progress has been slow going, but it looks like at long last, we'll finally be getting the game in English! Part of it, anyways. There's been no set release date for the partial patch, but according to the developers it should be released by the end of this summer, will cover the entirety of Cases 1 and 2 and be playable on both DS Hardware and through emulation. Perhaps not as exciting as a full patch, but as we English-speaking fans have had no opportunity to enjoy this game as of yet, this is certainly something we should be anticipating.

"No one can change the past. The only thing we can do is strive to make up for our mistakes. Why must we make up for our mistakes, you ask? Because in so doing... we can find the way back to our path. And once we've found our path, we can move on from our past mistakes toward a brighter future."- Phoenix Wright
