The Reviews for DD are pouring in!

It’s not the strongest entry in the series but Dual Destinies strong production values breathe new life to its signature moments and its mad yarns are just as bold.

I really like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies . I want to point out. Had it not been so linear that it is after all, it had aspired to even higher ratings, for sure, but now it stays here. If you've played previous installations of the series know about exactly what to expect, and you are interested in a purchase has every reason to make it Happen.

The latest Phoenix Wright game is the best one yet. Tense and chaotic, it goes down some dark paths without ever taking itself too seriously.

Although not quite hitting the high points of previous games in terms of narrative, Dual Destinies is another solid chapter in the series for fans and a great way in for newcomers.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies is aggressively oddball, but it's also sharply written and cleverly constructed. It trades the typical staid approach to murder mysteries and puts a pair of magic panties on its head (yes, there are magic panties), spinning a clever mystery that will please your crime-solving brain.

Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is a far cry from the disappointing Ace Attorney Investigations series, its flourishing confidence showing the game for the masterpiece it truly is. The game series has transitioned greatly, despite the absence of creator Shu Takumi being on board. The five cases of the game stand out as one of the most exciting Phoenix Wright games I have ever played, with the third case surprising me the most, delivering a bucketload of fantastic twist and turns at every corner.

The best Ace Attorney so far, with a wonderfully entertaining series of mysteries that showcase the series’ oddball characters to their very best – and make some subtle but welcome improvements to the gameplay.

Dual Destinies is disappointing. In general it's more of the same Phoenix Wright we've come to know and love, but the stories and characters are horribly weak

While Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies is ultimately more of the same, it’s no less endearing than its predecessors. It is a videogame that has been built for a knowing audience and in that respect Capcom have been wise to restrict it to a digital-only release, thus lowering the barrier needed for success. And it’s to be successful that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies most certainly deserves, as it’s a videogame that confidently stands apart from the crowd as a welcome change of pace to the typical genre fodder that fills most retail software libraries.
SUMMARY: So far the reviews are pretty good. Sounds like DD is at least as good as the majority of the games, if not better.
NOTE: I'm currently writing an essay and updating these posts as I take breaks, so I haven't had time to read all of these completely. Beware of possible spoilers when reading, although I haven't personally seen any as I've skimmed through the articles. It's very possible I've missed some, though.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.
