So there's a smash bros centric Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, April 8 at 6 P.M. EST. Its apparently mainly focused on Smash Bros, but its not being called "Smash Bros Direct" or something like that, which means there's probably at least a couple of other quick game info in there. Considering we don't yet know a release date for PLvsAA in the States, this might be a good time to mention it as it would be a pretty short announcement.

So I wouldn't get any hopes up, but it should probably be on our radar.

EDIT: oops, put "tomorrow" in the title. Can a mod change it to next Tuesday, please? I'm so used to seeing them announced the day before.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

It's referred to as a , "Super Smash Bros. Direct" right here http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/04-08-2014/

Not expecting anything PLvsAA related (unless they blindside me with an assist trophy or something) still hype though, as a Smash fan.

I'd be very, very surprised if there's anything other than Smash Bros., honestly, much less a PLvsPW announcement.

Indeed, Sakurai even called it that in his Miiverse post about it yesterday. I severely doubt it'll feature anything GS/AA at all, or even anything non-Smash related for that matter. It's always good to dream, though!

And hey, it's not like we have a topic about the game in the appropriate section of the forum or anything...

Sorry guys, I guess I should have probably checked more than one source (or at least go to the official source first). I just assumed the fact that it wasn't mentioned as "Super Smash Bros Direct" on various news sites meant that it was a Nintendo Direct with a focus on Smash Bros the way some have focused on specific things like 3DS spring releases or summer Wii U Releases. Now that I think about it, even a "Super Smash Bros Direct" is a "Nintendo Direct", though, so I wasn't thinking straight.
