Regarding the fanart page... There is quite obviously much more fanart than that all over the internet, with most of it of even much better quality...

...So why exactly is most of art on this site's fanart section Narumitsu art dump or strange sprite edits...?

Because it was created circa 2006 and hasn't been updated in several years, not to put too fine a point on it.

That's a bit harsh. :oops:

I wouldn't say there's no ambition there - it's just that the site has other areas that need updating first. An overhaul of the fan pages is definitely on the to-do list for the summer.

The fan art section I guess is good to keep, but it would be nice to add any art that people post to their fanart posts on the forum. Or maybe start hosting some "Fan art Fridays" like some other sites are doing, and the staff pick each friday a new piece to add?

Also, the "Important Dates" sidebar on the main page is getting a little outdated, with all events (Bar NA release of PLvsAA) having already happened. Maybe you could now add "TBA - JP; Dai Gyakuten Saiban" to the list?

The fangames section is horribly outdated. Like... I think that's AAO v3 as a screenshot. (And right now, we're transitioning into v6.) RotP is pretty much dead, as with PWLib. And there are a lot of good fancases which aren't there, while there are a lot of fancases which are dead which are there.

The redesign has automated management of both fan cases and fan fiction. Not "has planed", but "has right now". We just need Wooster to finish the visual design. And copywriters, plenty of copywriters.
