Even asking for an anime is just asking for disappointment. No doubt if one did come out there'd everyone would be whining about how it sucks compared to the games. :nick:

Reading through this topic just made me laugh way too hard. I'm up for a new GS game like everyone else, but seeing almost everyone getting hyped up over a Tweeter post just seemed so absurd to me. Unless there is hard evidence, I'm not taking anything at face value. Rumors are rumors, that's all.

That said, I can understand where UP is coming from. Posting what is only a rumor on the front page is not something that should be done. It just gets people overhyped then horribly disappointed over something that isn't even backed up by hard facts. I also agree that it does look a bit unprofessional to use curse words on the front page where many internet users are coming by just to take a look. It needs to be clean so it can appeal to the wide range of players this series has. Like I said, I see where he was coming from. That's all.

Really though, it's hilarious watching you kids get heated up over such silly stuff like this. You all need to get over it and move on. Makes you all look ridiculous.

I'm not holding my breath. Those twits don't make much sense to me. So, personally, I won't expect it until there are clearer news. So far, Takumi has been saying "no" to Gyakuten Saiban 5, and that he considered the series came to a closure with GS4 (How Apollo gave any closure to the series is beyond me, with all those unanswered questions...).

We have Gyakuten Kenji 2 on the way, so I think that for now we still will have our Gyakuten needs fulfilled. I really want GS5 too, but right now it still seems unlikely.

I love how they didn't even call it ''Gyakuten 5'', my theory is, ''Gyakuten XX'', is indeed a working title of the newest installment of the Gyakuten Saiban series, they just let the beans slip.

Personally, I believe that the interview was misinterpreted. I read it as Takumi was finished with the series as of GS4. As in, his part in the development in the series ended there. Not that the series itself ended.

That is the current interpretation of most people.

Of course, that means we have no idea whether GS5 will be created or not, but at least it isn't a 'no'. I know Wooster knows this, but some people here probably don't.

And if you read "Gyakuten" and "Takumi-san", you're obviously reading about Shu Takumi, creator of the Ace Attorney series.

What does this mean for us, exactly? Well, one thing's for sure: Mr. Takumi is working on a new game with the word "Gyakuten" on its title. Of which we'll probably hear more soon.

-------------------------------------------------------

Jiro Ishii denied a relation with Gyakuten Saiban.

He said, "Just so there's no confusion, I am making only "Time Traverers", now."

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Shu Takumi also mentioning Gyakuten XX? I think I saw this quite a while back, but it may just be me.
Oh, "Gyakuten XX". I am making it.
(or something to that degree.) and "Shu Takumi soon denied his relations with Gyakuten Saiban" I think this was on an earlier post.

There really isn't a need for this thread anymore. Move all discussion to one of the [url₧http://forums.court-records.net/trial-minutes/professor-layton-ace-attorney-recap-t20015.html]two threads regarding the crossover game.
