Actually, in some ways this game seems like it could explain why Maya wasn't there - if she has been studying in Kurain the whole time, then she was out of the country when it happened and I don't think Pearls came to trials unless she was directly involved in the crime itself or was with Wright and Co. when it happened so I think that actually makes sense. It also explains why Maya sent Nick a note rather than just showing up as well as why she seems to be sending him stuff like DVDs and having Phoenix write "reports" - which is a joke but now I could interpret to mean that it was just a joking reference to one of the many things they wrote and talked about through the mail, much like people far away from eachother might talk about an episode of a show they both like or something. A way to help the distance feel "normal". Everyone (including myself to a certain degree, although I never had a problem with it) wondered why Maya wasn't a big part of Phoenix's life post T&T if Pearl was obviously around but if Maya has been out of the country for 8 years then that would make complete sense.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

And if I recall, Misty was 31 as Master back during the DL-6 case. Maya hasn't been that far off of her training schedule, and it's all possible she wouldn't have been able to complete it in only 4 or so years.
Besides, with Nick traveling abroad to learn about other countries' judicial systems, wouldn't it be fair that Maya went abroad to learn about other countries' spiritual cultures?

I actually like this idea. Maybe have her be like Angel Starr? Only instead of delivering lunchboxes, she gives tea. Pearls can easily change her clothes and channel Mia, making her appearance less obvious.

Lately they have been giving bonuses with some eShop games (exclusive wallpapers), so it wouldn't be out of the question for Nintendo to add the ability to add bonuses to pre-orders as well.

- - Case 1, in which we defend Bokuto from allegations of theft and murder, in which the bard Potdino is apparently a witness of.
-Possibly Case 2 in Japanifornia, involving a murder during a magic show witnessed by stage magician Mimi.
-Maya's return case.
-A case involving a masked...statue-person thing (could be the same case as above).
-A case in which Maya is seemingly attacked (could also be the same case as item 3, or even the above).
-A case involving the WAA in some sort of crisis (possibly something in the penultimate case?).
Am I missing anything?

Unless there are more than 5 cases, I doubt there'll be 4 cases for Nick and 1 for Apollo. Maybe Maya's introduced in the case that scene of her being attacked is shown? Maybe she's not really harmed, or that cutscene happens after Nick and Maya meet up?

I absolutely love this design for Maya since it's basically an overall improvement for her normal design, we don't want another Hobo Wright boogaloo afterall.

Anyone with any common sense would know that, no matter WHAT they say, people will ship them. Don't even address it in the game. Let the shippers do what they want to, don't force it in, in an attempt to appease or annoy shippers. I know that, no matter if I say that Kaede and Tomo in my Fushigi Yuugi story are not in love and never would be, I know that some people likely will ship them.
Don't put any attention on it. Shippers will ship whatever and whomever they want. The ones who don't ship would only be annoyed that you put anything shipping related into the game. Especially if it has no place there. I don't play AA for shipping purposes, I originally played it for the cases and law.

Something tells me that now that Maya is part of the cast again their gonna end up having to address that at some point, even if it's just to say "No were just friends and that's how it'll always be" or something, just to get people to shut up about it.
Anyone with any common sense would know that, no matter WHAT they say, people will ship them. Don't even address it in the game. Let the shippers do what they want to, don't force it in, in an attempt to appease or annoy shippers. I know that, no matter if I say that Kaede and Tomo in my Fushigi Yuugi story are not in love and never would be, I know that some people likely will ship them.
Don't put any attention on it. Shippers will ship whatever and whomever they want. The ones who don't ship would only be annoyed that you put anything shipping related into the game. Especially if it has no place there. I don't play AA for shipping purposes, I originally played it for the cases and law.

About WAA crises thing , isn't it kind of obvious that it have something to do with Trucy in case 2 ? you know , cause it involves magic show starring Trucy and all that , it is entirely possible that she was hurt in this case or accused of some crime in that magic show -or she is the victim , but i highly doubt that will happen to a main character in the 2nd case nonetheless-

If it was just Trucy, I doubt they'd have brought special attention to it in this trailer, unless case 2 actually has a bad ending. The trailer specifically states that the entire agency is in trouble. I dunno if it relates to Nayuta's purpose being in Jap'fornia or what he's planning, but I doubt he's going to be very sympathetic.

Yeah , but they also focused on Trucy belongings in the WWA , with Athene looking sad like that ,it almost looked like they were reminiscing about how Trucy is not there , cause she was taking care of WWA and all that , but that just my 2 cents ,we will know soon enough for sure.

It wouldn't surprise me if they killed off Trucy, she did nothing in AA6, it doesn't look like they know what to do with her and there would be like 4 assistants running around.

How did you figure that? We only know of the prosecutor that's against Apollo, the monk with Hand signs. We don't know for sure whose against Wright after Gaspen Payne

From what I get by reading the summaries they probably don't have twists and feature a rather silly plot.

They're episodes like the Turnabout Quiz DLC from DD, where there's a mystery or two to solve, but they aren't full-on cases; more like interactive plays. And I'm betting they'll be non-canon because of the broken 4th wall.
Featuring silly things like: "Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth takes vacation in Kurain only to be dragged into court as the country's new Chief Prosecutor" or "Prosecutor Gavin enjoys stalking Apollo & co. in Nine Tales Vale". I can wish, can't I?

The Payne bros have never been "main" prosecutors, so there should be another prosecutor that Wright faces off. If Edgeworth and Klavier are DLC-exclusive, it has to be a new prosecutor. I believe Nayuta has just arrived in the Japanifornian courts when he appears (the stream footage of case 2 in court seems to suggest so), so I don't think he'd be leaving that soon.
