I find it a little curious that the Japanese games now have a Mako and two Makotos. Running out of names already, game designers!?
I always found it weird that there are 99 characters, and none of them have the same names.
I mean, in my class there are 31 people, and there are... maybe 21 or 22 names as many names are shared by multiple people.

Yeah, but you don't structure a classroom with names in mind. When making a game, that is very easy to control.
Armstrong and Oldbag both have the same Japanese first name as well: Kaoru. So this is the second time they've used a repeated name.
It's not that strange, because Makoto isn't that uncommon of a name, but it's always more interesting to have variety.

Just try to take 99 random people in real life. It's almost impossible that every people have unique name.
We're talking about a world where spirits can be channeled, people's biggest secrets are hidden behind big invisible locks and a prosecutor can have cravats, whips, throw coffee and do air guitar in a courtroom without being questioned. I'd hardly think realism has much of a place here.

Actually in Chinese her name means "beautiful clouds", the same with Japanese...(but yeah I agree the pattern on her shirt does look like clouds in traditional Chinese arts...)

Interesting... when the characters are talking it doesn't look like they're using AA style sprites. They look more like the official artwork. That's pretty cool.
I like the mysterious evil lookin' glow over Edgeworth's "Fancy Clothes" in that one picture.
So uh... does this look amazing, or what?

Nice. So I assume there are a "characters", a "gameplay", a "cases" and a "trailer" section.
Gameplay seems to be divided into the different game modes like logic, investigation and so on.
