The saddest part is Gaspen was actually able to live up to his title, he did almost humiliate Athena in her second trial. It was all Phoenix's fault he didn't win. :edgeworth:

Definitely, people say Winston's annoying, but that's the point of his character.
Also he's one of the only prosecutors in the games who START OFF not corrupt.

No, Gaspen. Winston is the good brother here. He's going to be the one to right the wrongs of his younger brother because that's the right thing to do.

And we might as well play as Winston for that case. It will be called "Turnabout Payne", as hinted by Yamazaki during one interview back when GS5 just came out.

GS7 is going to be glorious, guys. Now if GS6 could come out faster. ;_;

At this point I'd like to see Winston as a minor story character rather than as a prosecutor. Now that Gaspen has taken on that role, I think seeing another Payne in the same game would be too much for me. I'd love it if he came back and either aided Phoenix in some inept way or was involved in a case somehow. Just a minor role, but one to give him a send-off and show he still exists.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

TBH i think that's the most logical conclusion. You see Water Mirror is an integral part of the trial now... BUT remember it's in KURAIN, NOT in JAPANIFORNIA. Unless they found a way, they can't just forced Water Mirror's examination in Apollo's trial which sets in JAPANIFORNIA. The closest thing you can get, visually is Athena's Mood Matrix.

But then again, Phoenix seems to traveling alone to Kurain.

This is exactly why trailers are not to be trusted. We don't know if that line he says is in the game, and even if it is, it isn't necessarily spoken about the new prosecutor. It could be anyone.

In fact, thanks to that pull of wool over our eyes, Capcom, I will now doubt everything you show in a trailer that is not gameplay footage. Even the Objection theme in the trailer LIES! There is no sleigh bell in the track that plays at the end of the TGS stage! (Since that one loops, I'm going to assume that is actually how the Objection theme will go in the game.) How dare you adorn that beautiful track with bells that only add to the beauty!
