But...what's this about reading the first place story on fanfiction.net?O_o I don't want to start anything, but I thought one of the rules was that the story couldn't have been or be posted anywhere else? That was why I had to write a whole new story; otherwise, I would have just entered one of my existing stories. Again, not trying to start a fight or anything-just wondering. If the rules were changed, I wish someone would have told me.@_@

I believe due to few entries submitted, Croik changed the rules. I could be wrong though.

@Stefan_sama: I love fics about Phoenix and Trucy, and yours was even more enjoyable because it was well-written!
@Beautiful_blue: I have to admit, Franziska/Godot is not a pairing that has ever occurred to me, but your fic certainly made me a fan of it! (Only problem is, I highly doubt I'll ever find another fic that ships it, much less one as well-written as yours!)
@TheSteelSamurai: I really laughed when I got to the end of your fic. The gap between the mental image I was conjuring up compared to what was actually going on was hilarious! Who would've thought Edgeworth could master DDR on his first try?
Again, great job to the winners (as well as everyone else who competed)! Hope you enjoy your art books!

That said, I do congratulate the other two winners. I especially think I Had Intended Not to Love Him deserves credit because of all of the effort put into it.
Also, regarding the rules issue about mine, I believe that Croik had stated that the only thing not allowed was unfair promotion. Nothing was said about entering a fic that had already been posted elsewhere.
On that note, I hope the next fanfic contest rolls around soon~

However, to be fair to the rest of the contestants, I'm going to bump up our fourth place into the winner's circle and just order another prize for Hikari, author of Shards of Glass.
I don't know when we'll do another fanfic contest. The OC Contest is coming up, and after that I'd like to do something to celebrate fancases, now that they've been around for a while. So it might be a while! But I love contests so it'll be fics' turn again eventually.

but whatever you say, I guess. Thanks for letting me stay in, and I do have to congratulate you on your judgement skills for the fourth-place fic. Sorry for all the trouble...
