At this rate they have plenty of room to fit in a GK3, and by then they can pass the baton to the next protagonist, thereby totally avoiding the series' most epic conflicts. It's a very convenient literary tool, no?

I'd like to point out that GK technically doesn't take place over the course of three days... it takes place over seven years, if you count GK1-4.
That said, isn't it perfectly possible that GK2-1 is a flashback case, with the rest of it taking place several months to a year or so down the road? Obviously, with what little we know of the game, I cannot say that that is the route they are going to take for sure. I'm just saying at this point, there is still hope.

And it's strange and highly unlikely, but I wish Shih-na could be in this game. I feel like the ending when Shih-na was taken off into custody by Lang was sort of unresolved...I'm not sure what they'd do about that, but it's a thought.
And just out of curiosity....does Edgeworth know de Killer shot Franziska? I can't remember if Phoenix ever told him...

I think they're, like, cell phone straps.But they're shaped like Tonosamanjuu, the Japanese equivalent of Samurai Dogs.
Tonosaman = Steel Samurai; manjuu = some sort of Japanese confection, like a steamed bun.
They're apparently giving them away to anyone who plays the GK2 demo at TGS. (as I said before: jealousss.)

It's most likely GK2 will follow the precedent of GK1, as all the info we have of it thus far lines up with doing so and it's not long after they made GK1. (PW2 was near identical to PW1, just with new play modes, Magatama ~= Chess.)
If we hope GK2 will be radically different (~AJ vs GS3) then we will be disappointed when it isn't. It's better to anticipate GK2 for what it is than be disappointed for what it's probably not. And then if it does turn out to be the meaningful continuity effector, we'll all be pleasantly surprised.
I think we'll see GS5
-if Takumi decides to make it OR
-after GK3 when they have no alternatives to continue the franchise, though they might just go with a round of special release 3DS etc versions with bonus cases again.

Ash, you need to translate the rest of the TGS script! I can't wait to read a couple of Mikagami's lines, to see what her personality really is. It's kinda like when Mikumo was first shown as a "mystery girl" (or, as we called her, "Key Girl"). I was anxious to see what she was like, and then she turned out to be... a teenage sidekick. Hope this one doesn't disappoint that much.

Same here. And I think I liked the simpler ones from GK1 than these. They had a certain charm to them... But I guess we'll really see the difference in-game.
Now I'm wondering if the animation of the mini-sprites has seen any improvements. Not like it needed any in GK1, but it could have been smoother.
