Got my copy today and I'm already at the beginning of Chapter 4. Shit, this is some good stuff! I can't put it down even to work on my mathematics project due next week or listen to my new CDs. Stupid distracting virtual novels!

I really hope the fan support is strong enough for Nintendo to be convinced to pull Cing back from the brink. It would be a terrible shame to see this excellent video game development company go under.

I'm afraid it's a bit late for Cing to be saved... especially since we would probably have heard about it sooner from Nintendo if they had decided to help them up. It's already been almost 6 months since Cing filed from bankruptcy, after all.
And I don't think Cing is interesting enough for them (in terms of sales, heh) for them to buy a company that suffered from something like... liabilities of 256 million yen (= $2.9million).

It was really ''painful'' to beat this game, as I knew that when I read 'The End', it was in another way than just 'the end of the game'. Knowing I won't ever play as Kyle Hyde or Ashley (even J :p), or simply any other game made by Cing, well...
There are probablyvery few things I'd like to be more mistaken about than my certainty it's too late for Cing to be saved. Wish Cing had done something like: 'Dear fans, please donate whatever you can to help us out of this mess!'. I wonder how this would've turned out.

Especially after completing Last Window (still reading the novel though, which is really great by the way), it's not that wonderful when you know you've lost one of your favorite developers.

I'm trying to see if I can manage to buy a few copies for some of my friends' birthdays, but not too many of them have a DS so...

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I think you're right. I only just started playing Last Window (my copy took ages to arrive) and I love it so much! I hate to think it may be the last masterpiece from this brilliant studio. :larry: I really wish something would happen/someone would do something to bring the company back from the ashes. I live in hope...

Play-Asia is taking ages to deliver :headbang: , it's been about 1 and a half weeks but I'm hoping they deliver this Monday so I can play this. After ordering LW I replayed Hotel Dusk, just to re-familiarise myself with the story. Kyle Hyde is awesome! :hyde:

I read a Guardian review of it recently and it wasnt very well written (the review), they kept comparing it to PW (calling PWAA/AJ: Phoenix Wright: Attorney at Law for some reason!) but theyre different types of stories.

Planning on buying a copy for my fiancee in the US who loved the first game but can't get get it there owing to being in the cursed land of NTSC'dom.

{ Also going to send her a bunch of her favourite sweets too, since she hates American Chocolate for being too sweet! 8D }

The only US chocolate I've tried is Hershey bars, Butterfinger, Nutrageous etc (Nutrageous are very nice) :D

Continuing the thread derail, the only American chocolate I can stomach is Hershey's Peanut Butter Cups. I find the rest quite vile. I think many of my female American friends (and my girlfriend) agree as I'm always asked to bring over British and European chocolate when I visit the old colonies heh...

Back on topic, now Layton is out of the way (bar the weekly puzzles) I need to start up on this pronto...
