Post subject:  Gyakuten Kenji Limited Edition now at Play Asia

The Kenji 2 Limited Edition is now avalible for your importing pleasure at Play Asia.com!

The bundle comes with a CD, a DVD, the DS Game, a mystery lanyard-like-thing, and a 1/10 Edgeworth.

But before you rush to buy, remember, this is the JAPANESE limited edition. Thus, the bundle is in JAPANESE. Ergo. the DVD is Region 2 (North America is Region 1, Most of Europe on the other hand is Region 2). The DS Game is in Japanese.

Now, where I'm a bit dubious is the Edgeworth model. Capcom previously claimed it was an exclusive to their online shop. But Play Asia claims it's part of the edition they're selling. I don't know one way or the other if it'll actually be in the shipping version, but brace yourselves for disappointment, just in case.

Well, that was fast. They seem to be out of stock. We'll keep you posted if/when play-asia has more to sell.

Awesome! But I wonder, if Play Asia is selling the Edgeworth figurine as part of the bundle, does that mean that those of us waiting on the North American continent for the English release can expect an Edgeworth figurine as part of their promotional program?

...I so... SOOOO need to ask my Dad whether I can use his Cashcard to order this thing... (My Maestro Card doesn't work for this kind of orders...) Otherwise it will HAUNT me for the YEARS to come. T-T

I'm gutted. I've been waiting for the pre-orders to open on that for a while and now this message:

"This is a product with limited availability and our allocations have been presold. If you have preordered this item, your order has usually been confirmed. If you plan to purchase this item, please check back on the item's release date for possible restock."

I doubt they'll be restocking it though. Dam! :uramidn:

Don't give up just yet, if I remember, they did sell the GS4 bundle in spurts. At least on two occasions before the release date, and one long after. Now it just becomes a guessing game.

It was $89.90.

With the cheapest shipping it came to $102.30 or at least, so says my receipt.

(Shhhhhhh... Croik's getting one cool yet late Christmas present)

I e-mailed Play-Asia in regard to whether they'll be getting any more stock soon. They said this:

"The product has been pre-sold. We cannot accept anymore pre-order at this moment. We will try to get more stock from our supplier. You can check again for the availability of the product when it is nearly released."

So it's probably a maybe and just a case of checking back every day.
