Level-5 USA just wrapped up a Facebook poll asking fans which Japanese only title we wanted localized the most. The winner? Layton VS AA won with almost 45% of the votes, with Ninokuni on PS3 and DS behind it in that order.

For those who're interested, here's the full list of final results (as in, gathered just after Level-5 "closed" the poll):

What I'm most impressed with, is that Time Travelers, a new title, without gameplay footage, is nearly tied with a cannon Layton game.

YEEEEEEES! IT WILL BE LOCALIZED!

'Tis time to celebrate. Too bad GK2 wasn't in that poll, though...

No-one said it will be localised. It just shows that a lot of people want it. We'll have to wait and see if it comes out here.

^ I know. It's just hearing this makes it more likely than before that it could be localized. Just gives me more hope, I guess :keiko:

Honestly, I just want them to release all of those 3DS games. I'd buy them all.

Thanks to whoever edited my post to make it front page material! (:

I'm really hoping Level-5 announces its overseas plans at this year's Level-5 Vision like Hino said they would, the US offices are a huge steps towards faster and better localization for their games.

As much as I like this, this poll alone doesn't confirm anything, lol.

I think the fact that there's english information on Level-5's U.S. website is more... revealing then a poll.

I mean, Megaman always ranked high in MvC polls, but he didn't show up in 3, did he?

This sounds promising :edgy:
I'm surprised how low Inazuma Eleven placed though.

Probably because it's already available in English in Europe and the NDS is region free.

I think Level-5's US office is the best thing that could have happened to PLvsAA, Layton in general and all L-5 properties for us non-Japanese. Level-5's Japanese games could be localized while the game's developed in Japan, leading to US releases very close to the Japan dates. Meaning we could get a freaking SIMULTANEOUS Japan-US (maybe even EUR too!) release for PLvsAA. How awesome would that be!? Even though it's unrelated, that would compensate for the AAI2 debacle in my fanheart.

Isn't that a bit short sighted? I seem to recall that Capcom's english team for the GS series is based in Japan. They've got the advantage of a geographic proximity, and it still takes months after release to localize. Then there's the Final Fantasy series... I seem to recall that the only reason 13 got localized as relatively quick as it did, was that the PS2 version was almost complete before they scrapped it and made a PS3 version.

You're right, it was short sighted. I tend to do that when too excited about something :P
Still, I see no point of an US studio if it doesn't speed up localization, unless it's to develop Call of Layton: Tophat Warfare.

Seems we've had a lot more spam than usual lately.

But yeah I'm the same Looby though I did look up one or two after the poll.
Ninokuni is apparently some RPG done with Ghibli featuring all their pretty art.

Awesome! Considering that UMVC3 has phoenix wright, the english version wont have problems finding a voice actor!

Its a Level 5 poll, meaning games made by Level 5, it makes sense that GK2 isnt there.
