The official site for Level-5 World 2011 has been updated with the filling of 7 of the 8 silhouettes that the site originally featured. Below that, we now have actual CONTENT! Among that is confirmation that the shadow of the good Professor Layton was standing in representation of Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney, as it was mentioned during the PLvsAA TGS stage show last week. Back in that show they announced that the dream crossover will be playable during World, so expect a huge gameplay blowout during the Vision event! That's during day 1 of World, by the way.
The site also seems to confirm that some parts of the event will be streamed via Ustream, but my Japanese is nonexistent, so correct me if needed!
In news unrelated to Ace Attorney, this confirmation doesn't mean that this is the only Layton content to be announced. I have a strong hunch that suggests we might get word on the second Layton movie, which is supposed to tie PL5 and 6 together in a fashion similar to what PL and the Eternal Diva did with PL4 and 5. Back to the World site, the only character that still remains as a silhouette is the mystery kid that nobody's ever seen before. We will find out soon enough!
Level-5 World 2011 takes place in Japan during October 15 and 16, which means we'll start getting info on the 14th, and is completely open to the public. You just need to... you know, live in Japan.
