I was actually at the second showing of the movie at the NYAFF, and it was awesome!! I absolutely agree with it winning the Audience Award - everyone was clapping, cheering, and laughing at the same parts...and it was really great to be in the same room with so many people who are big fans of the Ace Attorney games like I am. :olga-quick:

I was there and the movie was amazing! Almost all of the seats were taken and the tickets were sold out. :D

I was really skeptical when I heard the film was being made, and I admit that visually the film doesn't totally do it for me. But the reviews have been consistently good for the movie, which is different than pretty much any other video game film I can remember. It's been screened all over the place in the states, so it seems to be an audience. Because of this I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been a us dvd/blu ray release announced yet.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.
