Retail games that are also on the eShop are always priced the same amount. That's probably one of the reasons why people don't bother with the eShop much. Now, retail games range from $19.99 to $39.99 most of the time (notable exception: SMTIV is $49.99. Get the box, all that extra stuff is worth it). First party titles usually are in the upper range of that, at least on first release. Third party titles are generally up there too unless the game has less content, in which case the price is lower. eShop exclusives have a wide variety of prices depending on their content. DSi games usually are just a few dollars. 3DS games that have a narrow genre or are short tend to be less than 10 dollars (like puzzle games, platformer games, and the Guild series). There are some that are in the $15-25 range, especially first party titles. But I don't recall any exclusives going higher than that. Personally, I'd accept if AA5 was released with a $29.99 price tag because it would have most likely been priced $39.99 or $34.99 if it was released on a cart. I'd be disappointed if it was higher than that. $24.99 feels like a sweet spot for me though. And to those considering a 3DS: there's a lot of good games on it, so it'll be worth it. Unlike the Vita where there seem to be so few. |

Could someone make a list of how to get all Angel Starr's lunchbox ? This achievement really is the most boring thing I've ever seen in an Ace Attorney so far, but I still want to obtain it, and don't want to do PW1 case 5 ever and ever just for that. Many thanks in advance ! |

To those have issues with lag, can I suggest turning off other apps in the background. I'm playing on iPhone 4 and this did the trick for me. On the Home screen, double tap the square button and hold down on the apps that appear at the bottom of the screen; a red - symbol should appear in the left corner of them. Close down any games or video apps that might be open. Might help. |

Considering that I didn't spend a cent on this game, (Steam trading ftw) this will be about the game itself, not the price. Considering that I didn't have a DS at the time of me buying this and I don't have a car so I couldn't go out to the store and buy the DS versions, this port was very nice for people who don't have a DS or Wii, and besides, most people these days have an iPhoenix...iPhone, I mean, then this isn't the lest bit a bad thing. Any complaints? Well, I've a got a stack to the moon on spelling errors, incorrect wording, spacing, and the like. But there is one thing that really bothers me. THE. SPRITES. DON'T. HAVE. ENOUGH. FRAMES. They look choppy as all hell! The music, is meh, I don't have to worry about that, and I really do like the GBA OBJECTION! 2004, but the music quality in T&T DS was over-all low anyway, and considering that I've never played the DS version, I didn;t even notice. Though, some sounds are wrong, like the deeper gavel sound from JFA, and some other, just play the game, and you'll know. Spelling errors? There are sooo many, even some carried over from the DS version, that they could've fixed. Or in RFTA, when you're talking to about him being the leader of the investigation for the day, the conversation topic name is:"Judge for a Day"... funny, I though the governor of the state had to choose the judge, NOT THE POLICE. Ugh... Overlooking all these, and the gameplay is still there, except for the examine, you can't tap anywhere without examining something, so if you stop over something and move your hand, it will examine it -_- You have no idea how many times I've seen (No clues here.) Whatever, If they make a port of Apollo Justice, I'll buy it within a heartbeat. Though it isn't worth the price YOU may pay, it is pretty solid. -J |

Ugh... -J To be fair though, I just played this part on the DS version, and it also says "Judge for a Day". Either they didn't fix it accidently or they were trying to make a joke, idk, but that's not only on the iOS version. Overall, though, I wasn't that impressed. I liked the HD sprites but the framerate issues and bugs were too much. |

I never thought that I'd see the day where an ACE ATTORNEY GAME HAS LAG. Come on people, this isn't exactly pushing the iPhone to its limits.

Yeah, I believe I mentioned something like that before. This represents the fact that some HD remakes of games are inferior than the originals. |

I don't own the DS trilogy (I played to original on iOS and the other two on WiiWare), so I've started getting them. A few months ago, I picked up a near-mint condition copy of the original Ace Attorney for only $15. Everything was in great condition from the cartridge label, case insert, and manual. There was a new copy for $20, but I thought I'd just save some money and get it cheaper. Personally for me, I think that $15 is a steal. The difference between the DS version and the iOS HD version is night and day. No lag, excellent sound quality, and graphics that, while lower quality, have a charming and crisp retro aesthetic to them. |

I'd check any local thrift stores/pawn shops/music & dvd stores/etc. for any used copies, you might be able to find them cheap. Also, Amazon has all of the games for less than $20 each, which is the best its been since like 2008. Maybe it would be a good Christmas present from someone else who owns a credit card, maybe? Although in all honesty, I don't think the iOS version is all that bad, really. It's terrible for those of us who've played the DS version many many times, but for fans just starting out it's not really that different. If you own all three on the iPhone already, I'd say it's not like your missing out on anything huge. It's more like watching a movie on a little tube TV instead of a big Flat-screen TV (that analogy doesn't really work since the inferior version of the AA is the "HD" one, but I mean in the sense that the iOS version is an inferior product). I'd say if you're a first time fan, your first priority should be buying the games that can't be played on iOS (AAI, AJ), especially Apollo Justice since it comes directly before DD. But if you have some extra money to burn and want the absolute best versions of all the games, then the DS copies are the way to go. |

I've watched a walkthrough of AJ (Go ahead and stone me) and I don't think capcom will pull the MGS on us, they'll explain some of the important things. And apparently, they(nintendo) are going to put NDS games on the 3ds virtual console, I'm not sure though... But before ALL that, I need to get some money together and buy a 3dsxl, or wait till Oct. 7th, because dats mah burfday. October 24th, people. EDIT: Some people just called, calling themselves Nile, or something dumb like that. They offered me a position, should I take it or not? |

The trilogy is the wosrt port I have ever seen for iOS. I would not recommend buying it. You should all get the first PW ios port game capcom released many years ago. That is THE best iOS version you could get. |
