Fun fact, the audio for the first three games is just 13 Mb. And that is including duplicates and sound effects. Not to mention that the best compression possible is ADPCM that fits two samples in one byte. At best a factor of four when compared to 16 bit PCM. They had no excuse file size wise.

Sure thing. I did post it so other people could put it to use, after all. Best of luck.

So I did this a few days ago but never got around to uploading it. I went ahead and attempted to fix the GS3 songs but the loops are not perfect, some are ok but others are a little jarring.

I've just downloaded the game and passed the two free trials however I'm unable to purchase it... neither the first part nor the others. I'm receiving this message over and over:
Code:
This app's product info is not up-to-date. Please check your internet settings and/or reception.

Well, I did that and I've also updated my soft because it was out-dated but it didn't help. :edgeworth:
And I would really want to play the whole trilogy in HD... Anyone had that kind of problem?

Strange, I was able to purchase the game all at once. And speaking of which, how do you report bugs into the App Store or whatever? There are a wide array of bugs in the game and I figured there may also fix a bunch of plot holes and typos.

Just spent nearly two straight hours converting the DS version JFA songs to .m4a along with making them loop properly. Here is the DL link: http://filesmelt.com/dl/JFA.zip

I've redone every song except the ringtones, prologue, credits/ending, and the Edgeworth + von Karma revival songs. Everything else though was redone and should loop almost perfectly. Tested it out and so far so good. Was too lazy to do the other ones mentioned, someone else can do them if they like.

I used this pastebin posted earlier in the thread to find the filenames of each song: http://pastebin.com/q1wnWuaX

Anyone wanna do T&T next lol? :gant:

Normaly there is a section in the page of the product (the app) where you can report bugs. If many people complaints they correct it (eg the bug music in the first port). If you don't find it you can also complain in the review section. Maybe they will give it a look.

Now that I think about it. Do anyone wrote on Capcom unity on how bad/correct/terrible their port was? Just asking...

You know your game is broken when the fans go in themselves and try to improve it. On that note, is there anyone out there who would be able to fix the lag and add iPhone 5/iPod Touch 5G screen support?

I've sent an email to the Capcom mobile support and to my surprise, they've actually responded back. They mainly told me to be more specific about some of the issues that I told them but maybe they'll actually fix the bugs I reported to them. I can always do another bug report afterwards.

Oh, and I find it interesting on how it slightly differs from the handheld versions such as the mugshot of John Doe being different and Sahwit's age being changed from 36 to 44 to fit in with AAI2. If they didn't yet, has anyone managed to extract (is that the right word?) the graphics of the game yet?

Well, one difference I found was that some of the pictorial bits that represented certain events were missing from the HD version.
Spoiler: Possible Spoiler for T&T and JFA
Franziska's entrance into the courtroom near the end of JFA & Desiree describing how she and Ron met. :yuusaku:

Although some are missing, it shouldn't affect the overall gameplay too much even if the effect is gone.

I downloaded T&T and I noticed some strange things.

Examples In profiles: Maya Fey: Maya's sister etc. Mia Fey: Maya's sister etc. wut
Music: During cross examinations, moderato is playing instead of allegro. JFA music is played at certain times.
Spoiler:
During the scene with Dahlia leaving Maya's body, the images from case 4 do not appear.

Then again small stuff like this always happens in emulation and HD remakes. :keiko:

I meant that i played T&T on Ipad mini, hence my thoughts about HD remakes, but if you want my experience with emulation, i've played the downloadable version of Metal Gear Solid 1( PS1) for the PS3. The only weird thing about it is
Spoiler:
On PS1 back when we had controller ports, one of the bosses in that game was psychic and "could read your mind and avoid your attacks"(read you memory card data and detect the 1st controller actions). So you had to put controller into the second port so that he couldn't "read your mind." When playing PS1 games, either on disc or downloaded from the online store, you have to set your controller to Controller 2 in order to defeat the boss. It's funny because in MGS4 a boss with almost the same name as the MGS1 boss, advice was given to put your Controller set to 2, but it didn't work since the PS3 doesn't use ports. :godot: When the "spirit" of the MGS1 boss tries to read your mind again he can't because the PS3 uses a Hard drive, not memory cards lol.

Well, to be honest, I'm told this is a Mini. It's not my possession per se, but it feels larger than what an Ipad Mini should feel like. Nevertheless, if you play the game horizontally,(how I played it) the format will not change to vertical DS-like mode until a character has finished speaking/taken a pause in speech or when you are ordered to present evidence in a trial. Example: Judge says,"Who is the real murderer?" or Phoenix says, "The crime actually took place... Here!" You have to at least attempt that in order to switch to vertical mode and vice versa. :eh?:

Their sales forecasts for DD are probably not as high as you might be imagining. Ace Attorney is a niche series, so they only print enough copies to first break even and then turn in a profit. This is a complete guess, but I'm guessing that a desirable number would be 250,000 copies sold overall. Again, we have no idea how this game will be priced which would probably change their forecasts. Digital games are also a completely different sales market than physical releases. Look at Layton Brothers Mystery Room. According to Level 5, it's already reached 1 million downloads.
http://www.joystiq.com/2013/07/17/layto ... downloads/
Hopefully DD will do better in the West since its digital only. Though the M rating could affect sales somewhat.

well since its digital release there is no limit when it comes to with physical copies so it can sell even more the laytons mystery room which was amazing since there are a good amount of fans out there and with the M rating it wont really change anything since people will probally just lie on their eshop accounts by changing there age nowing kids now a days

No, I'm pretty sure they were digital as well. Nintendo had a whole promotion where if you bought a 3DS XL, they would give you a free eShop game and Mario and Layton were on the list.
