Okay, I stand corrected. I just prefer to use the calender definition of seasons, because it ties into the orbit of the Earth. Conveniently, it's also around the time that the new anime season starts.

I guess they could shortly after, but why didn't they just put it in the "Price" press release, then? The way they're handling the release date announcement is really irritating me! aplab23207 wrote: Spoiler: Spoiler: Well, the soundtrack is being released on September 25. I guess it's a cultural thing. Ah! I never knew that! Cultural discrepancies can tend to cause confusion. I'll keep the whole '21st' in mind from now on! But I'm used to each season beginning on the 1st of December, March, June, and September. TopHatProfessor1014 wrote: Are we seriously debating this? What have I begun!? Also, back to the topic of release dates, I've always had it in my head the game's coming out in October, ever since they said a "Fall/Autumn" release. |

I think the reason for not telling us the release date already is to ensure we'll get the earliest release date possible. I mean, if they had already announced it back in e.g. May they also would have needed a buffer, because they couldn't exactly have known when the localization and everything would be finalized. Puh, I am pretty sure I used the wrong grammatical tense somewhere in the former sentence, but I hope you get what I mean. |

While doing some research on my favorite game series, I came across this article (this is the link to the article in French http://ace-attorney.info/news/?p=427), which it said that the proposed DLC Japan quiz is not, like Capcom wanted us to believe, a quiz on Japanese culture, but an epilogue to AA5 in the form of dialogues between characters and puzzles (this may be been said here, but I can tell you that the info France had not yet filtered ).So I do not know what it is for English-speaking population, but in Europe there is a real feeling of being seen as idiots .. we already had the right to more than pathetic excuses to justify the fact that the game will not be translated (French, Spanish, German ..), but then Capcom seems even bother to justify .. I find it really outrageous So if you also want to "fight" with the European side, do not hesitate to sign petitions on the web, support the movement # ace attorney multi5 (and if you want more information on the subject I am happy to reply by mail ).

Something like that - I'm hoping for a decent and fair price too. How do you get 'E-shop credit'? I do have some money left on my card I think to use in there after I topped up £20 and bought a couple of VC games, is that what that is? |

It's a standalone scenario where the gang is forced to solve quizes, some of them indeed relying on Japanese culture / language (it's also been out for like ages, so it's not a proposed/upcoming DLC). See also the topic about the DLC. |

On an off note, The Ace Attorney facebook page put up a new screenshot, and I think has referred to the "Thought Root" as "Telling" perceive (Or is it referring to something different?). Here's their post: Ace Attorney Facebook wrote: Here is an all new screen from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies.
With the all new 'telling' perceived ability, you can now block Simon Blackquill's trusty Falcon Taka! ![]() |

It's an old screenshot and should be about Apollo failing to do his perceive, because Taka was pestering him. |

I don't know, I just assumed they had a typo there or something like that. |

Apparently the release date in US/EU will be 24 October, not sure how much it will sell for over here - hopefully £19.99 |

(Is this like an upgrade of Apollo's GS4 perceive?) My guess is it's just an extension to the percieve mini-game that is somehow different enough to justify it going through the "Taka Perceive Shield". It's probably just a faster version/a version of perceive with a time limit. Probably nothing too different. |

Actually, I've gone through the game already, and I've never seen or heard of "telling perceive". It pretty much is the same as it had been in GS4. |

Without spoilering any story details, does Apollo find some new way of getting past Taka? If so, that's probably what the Press Release was referring to, and they just screwed it up. |

No one messes with Taka. In other words, it was a certain exception that Simon allowed Apollo to perceive (and Taka accepted the condition). |
