Ah, awesome. So I suspect the track is based off the "Nintendo Direct" trailer? That one was my personal fave PV, particularly from a musical standpoint.

I've been listening to Bolt's upload of the soundtrack. There's something I'm really impressed with:

They've added beginnings and ends to the songs! One thing I HATE about game soundtrack releases is the fact that the song just repeats 2-3 times and then fades out! I LOVE that the songs have all been arranged for a CD release. I'm going to have to pick this up when it comes out.

Iwadare's been known to do this for several of his OST albums in the past, but this is the first time he's done it for an Ace Attorney soundtrack. A really nice touch!

やかましい doesn't only mean "noisy"; it can also mean being particular or strict about something. If you're talking about an uproar, you'd usually use さわがしい instead.

I made a few edits to the titles on VGMdb.

  • I changed "Gyakuten Saiban 5" to "Ace Attorney 5" for the localized version. Changing it to "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies" would make the titles too long, in my opinion. What do you think?
  • I fixed some grammatical errors and inconsistencies in both the localized and translated versions, such as the capitalization of the words "of" and "is."
  • For the localized tracklist, I replaced all of the Japanese character and episode names with their localized counterparts. The exceptions are tracks 20 to 25 on disc 2, since those pertain to an episode that has yet to be localized.
  • I changed "Youkai" to "Yokai" for the localized version only, because that's the way it's spelled in the localized game. The same goes for changing "Tarou" to "Taro."
  • I made the assumption that "Great Kyuubi" is what the Japanese version called The Amazing Nine-Tales, and I adjusted the localized tracklist accordingly. If my assumption was wrong, please change it back. Just remember that the localized game spells it as "Kyubi."
  • I changed "Ban Gozo ~ Our Secret Word Is Justice!" to "Bobby Fulbright ~ In Justice We Trust!". I'm assuming that was the right change. Again, if I assumed incorrectly, please change it back.

I made these changes before I knew about this thread, so stop looking at me like that.

Hey... I just noticed something. Bolt didn't upload Apollo's ringtone, and it doesn't exist in the soundtrack list. Why's that...?

Is it a new version, or is it just the exact audio file for the Guitar's Serenade from AJ? Because I know they didn't put Gavin's theme or the Perceive theme on the OST either since it was from AJ. But I would assume the ringtone was a new file (I still haven't played it yet).

Oops, I meant was it the actual guitar's serenade from AJ, not a "ringtone" version. I figured maybe AA cell phones finally caught up with current technology and could actually play mp3s. I guess it was a ringtone though.
